Continued Updates

These developers have been regularly putting out updates since the iPhone X release to make the experience better and better. It’s beautiful on the the X. And UE and UI are important to my workflows and one of the reasons I love Airmail.

Large app

This app does many things for. Your email. But crashes and works better on the iPad or phone the. There is a learning curve with this app. Or it just seems harder to use

I almost switched. Still needs work!

The app definitely looks beautiful on Mac OS and iOS. I downloaded on all devices and I was giving it go but then I noticed the deal Breaker for me. You can only add 1 Google Drive account and even then something isn’t right because I can’t see all of my folders just 10 or documents. As I have 2-3 gmail accounts, I must have access to their separate Drives since if am composing a work email —— I will need access to my work files in Drive, etc. Spark has his option so until Drive is more integrated I cannot make the switch. At least for me it would be difficult to switch from an app that just works to one that is not there yet.

Buggy

I do love the app but there are so many things that would make it better. Most of my concerns are about things that pretty glitchy/buggy: - unclear from mobile app which email is saved to send later and what that later date/time is — I often find myself anxious that I sent a draft or a “send later” email because it is unclear from the UI in both desktop and app. On a few occasions, I’ve went back to gmail just to make sure. - sometimes the preview description in the inbox do not get updated with a preview of the latest email in the chain so I also get nervous there - I don’t have unified inbox turned on at all. When I navigate to my other inboxes, I can’t view specific sent emails from that account. - I also cannot add an email to to-do and have that to-do filter also filter per email account in the mobile app. It groups them all together in the mobile app. - when I mark up an email with bold or italics or colors and send the email, it doesn’t display the email with the mark up. In fact, I cannot confirm in the app on mobile or desktop if the email was sent with text marked up. When someone replies and I see my original email in reply, it also does not display with the text mark up. :( this leads me to assume that the mark up isn’t actually sticky. - i added a signature to an account. Signatures by default is blank. I can’t toggle to add my signature at all in emails where I reply. Features I would love to see: 1. Ability to strike through text in emails 2. Change color/theme of app 3. The available filters (to do, memo, done, send later) display account-specific emails on mobile apps if unified account = false Thank you !

Update yesterday has broken it

RikiTikiTavi13

Snoozes, archives, and trashes are now useless, because as soon as you move an email, it all appears back in your inbox when you refresh, so all the work you just did is rendered useless. App is now unusable. Hoping for an update asap.

Amazing email app !!

Andybme

I have tried literally every email app on the app store and between the design and lists of actions this is the best one for me. It is easy to use and works well with so many other apps to make emails usable. You can easily link to the original email in a task or event or notes. It even does saved searches. This is why I keep trying different apps for email so that I can find one like airmail that become my replacement for installed apps. Thanks Dev team for this app!!! I could pick at little things but the Dev team got it right.

Duplicate sent emails

chokoboii

App sends duplicate emails for every sent email. This app has two main functions : to read and send emails. If the app cannot do this, the app is not good. The developor should fix basic functionality issues rather than spend their time on fancy bells and whistle features. Simple as that. Will be requesting for a refund

Getting Worse

I have been using Airmail for over a year now. When I first started using it I loved it. Now, it seems very buggy. It shows an inflated amount of email on the app (the little notification in the corner of the app), and when I open my inbox there are significantly less. I really like the functionality of the app, but it crashes and the notification thing is super annoying.

Well Done

Nothing but positive things to say about this app. Noticeable improvement from apple mail and includes a lot of features that should be built in.

It sends and receives email ok...

If you are using this for business emails where you need a logo in your signature, try another app. In both the desktop and iOS versions, images in email signatures are virtually impossible to use. There is no way to resize a placed image without knowing HTML/CSS coding, and 80% of the time when you send an email, your HTML/CSS resizing is ignored and the image comes out too large or distorted. Another issue I have is that for some reason, every couple of weeks or so Airmail will refuse to download all of the emails in a particular folder (including the inbox) and will only show emails received within the last day. The only way to get older emails to show up is to open settings and reset the message cache which re-downloads all of my emails. This is incredibly annoying and inconvenient. I really want to like this app, but it lacks basic email features that even the built in iOS and macOS mail apps have, and because of that I will be switching back to those.
