Nice game, bad programming

I've played this for a week and it's quite a nice idea for a game. Except for some glaring flaws. 1. You want to click a building next to a farm that is full and can't take anymore? Too bad, it won't let you because the farm icon overlaps buildings around it, even if you click outside the icon borders. 1.a. You want to place a ram next to a tower that happens to be half an inch away from the "next" button outline? Too bad. I've found many good matches that I lost the chance to try because the game thinks I pressed the "next" button despite the fact that i was well outside the icon button itself. 2. The AI is as dumb as a rock. You want your archer to attack the tower that is on the other side of the wall? Too bad. It will start attacking the wall despite the fact that the archers can shoot over the walls as per their description. There's so many AI issues, it's horrifying. Worst of all, the AI units has no sense of preservations programmed into it. It's 2017 for heavens sake... 3. With the mess that is the AI and the games horrible ability to recognize where you click things, you must zoom ultra close in just to be able to command units to the proper buildings or even click buildings that has other buildings icon overlapping it. 4. The AI tracking is nearly nonexistent to the point where if you tell a unit to attack something, they will attack the wall even if there is a gaping hole in the wall a few blocks down. 5. Due to the shoddy unit commands programming that uses player fingers to command units during heat of battle, if you send a unit to attack a tower, making sure to see that it visually acknowledges it, little would I know that very unit isn't doing what I told them, having them end up attacking the wall directly next to the tower. I had to zoom in ultra close AGAIN just to tell them "No! Attack this tower, dumbnuts!" AND WORST OF ALL 6. There is no castle editor where we can wipe the map clean and place new castle formats like on Clash of Clan. If you set the castle down first time, good luck playing around with the mess when trying a new defense format. ~~~ I could go on and on and on. I give this a two star because it's age of empire, even if they butchered its reputation with crappy and shoddy programming. Now i can see why so many people aren't playing this game anymore. I'm out.

I hate these sit and wait games. I want to play not pay more and more or wait. I thought this would be different it's not.

As someone who grew up playing the original age of empires in 1997. This game is horrible, the wait times, the graphics, the sounds are pretty ugly. The music? Where is the awesome music aoe always had? The game is dead.
