Sadly, as an Irish national, it pains me to say how terrible an airline they are these days. Yes, they’re now owned by the same outfit that owns British airways etc, but if you flew one after the other ( I have) you wouldn’t know it. Short and sweet, a badly run airline. The aircraft are fine ( I work in the industry and aer lingus uses only newer airbus for the most part. But the actual staff themselves? Go elsewhere if you can.

I fly almost every week. I use other airline apps constantly. This app is completely useless. Can't access flight information, no details on gates, flights, can't access my boarding passes, and can't check in. It cosmetically looks nice, but offers no value at this time.

It doesn’t allow you to rate less than 1 star as I would put it at a -2 stars! Why? It doesn't provide boarding passes, it doesn’t provide terminal or gate information for departure or arrival gates. It doesn’t provide baggage carousal information or remind or update you of flight/ departure delays. It is basically useless unless you want to see the same data as the ticket email they sent you. Psst, Aer Lingus App designers, visit American or United for ideas on how a mediocre airline app should work. Now, put down the pint and get after it!

The app will give you flight info ex times but wont let you check in .. developers need to work on that..even after you physically check in, you cant download the boarding pass..
Showing terminal would be nice

It's a run-of-the-mill airline app, works for what I've used it for. One complaint: it's showing quite limited information on your flight. No terminal, no airplane type, no details on premium/early boarding, etc.
Useless for MultiCity bookings

This app is completely useless if you’ve booked your flight for a multi city trip. I’m flying into Edinburgh through Dublin, and I’m planning to fly back into Dublin through Glasgow, and since there are multi city flights, you cannot get boarding passes, check in or check flight status through this app which renders the app completely useless! What a waste.

I’m so embarrassed that Aer Lingus is our national airline. It took 12 emails and 7 months to get my points added after several flights. Once I was late for a connection (no fault of mine) and was made pay full price for the next flight they then refused to accept the points for it. On another flight had no option to choose my seat the number rang out several times now i’m beside the loo at the very back. Got the credit card but Avios only accepts MasterCards what a fiasco. Please Aer Lingus make me proud again.

You cannot check in via this app. You cannot access/load boarding passes for flights from Boston or New York to Dublin or Dublin to Edinburgh. The flight status info is not correct. And you cannot see your AerClub credits via the app. What is the purpose is the app?

Just gives error message when logging in. Works fine on desktop site. Delete.
