New Ads Make it Unusable

The new interactive ads on the Apple TV make this app painful to use. Every few minutes it stops the show and forces you to interact with ads. It’s so bad I decided I don’t even care to watch the shows anymore and uninstalled.

A&E IS MY FAVORITE APP! IT HAS MY FAVORITE SHOW THE THE FIRST48. I WATCH IT EVERY SINGLE NIGHT TO GO TO SLEEP (THE OLD EPISODES I KNOW BY HEART) AND THEN OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE NEW EPISODES. THOUGHTHE OLD ONES ARE MY FAVORITE. BUT THE APP HAS COME A LONG WAY FROM THE CONSTANT PROBLEMS AND GLITCHES. SO GRATEFUL. I ONLY GAVE THREE STARS BECAUSE THERE IS STLL GLITCHES WITH THIS APP. JUST LAST WEEK I COULDNT ACCESS THE FIRST 48 SHOWS BECAUSE THE MENU WOULDNT PULL UP FOR DAY AFTER DAY. I HAD TO WATCH THE FEW SHOWS AVAILABLE ON AMAZON AT BED TIME. THANK GOODNESS THERE IS SOME BACK UP.

Gone forever!
Excellent documentary. Truly an eye opener. If it isn’t being shown in schools, I think it should be. It might help help some individuals, of all ages, to rethink their intentions and the consequences before acting on them. Truly deep and riveting!

I love Ghost Hunters, Hoarders, Paranormal State, CourtCam, The First 48, and so many others! In some cases, I have rewatched the shows from the beginning again and again! So grateful to have this technology to binge on MY time! Keep these shows coming, A&E!
App never works

Every single time I try and watch it either signs me put of my tv provider so I have to sign back in to unlock the episodes, then at first commercial break it stops playing and goes black or I get a error message saying something about player error so I have to uninstall and reinstall just for it to stop playing halfway thru a episode.

I’d pay 2$ a month to not have this app torture me with literally endless ads that repeat over and over. There is also an issue where the audio rewinds and plays over the wrong part of the video.
Why can’t I keep watching?!??

It appears I am unable to return to watch shows I was unable to finish. If I try to continue watching after the app is either closed or left in the background too long I receive an error code saying error loading video player. It’s extremely frustrating. I have a boy 7 episodes of After the First 48 I can’t finish due to this issue. I’ve updated the app and my phone to no avail. Please help!!!!!!

This app is amazing and has everything I love in and easy and accessible app. The only thing I hope they’d change in the bear future is the option to pay for episodes through the app instead of with networks or providers. Honestly just cut the middle man and let me finish all the seasons of TF48 ?. Other than that I’m dedicated to the new shows they have going on as well as my favorites. This is a great app in my opinion.
