I use the A&E app on both my mobile phone and my samsung smart tv. The app on my tv is literally unusable... none of the shows will play and the app takes two minutes to even load anything. The mobile app and tv app freeze constantly and there's always problems when streaming a series. I love A&E's shows, but their troublesome apps/streaming services makes me not even want to watch their shows.

Great shows, unfortunate that A&E cancelled Live PD...The First 48 is their best show on the network, the app experience is ok, the multiple ads throughout programming is quite annoying.

I have never had an issue with the app, the content is/WAS incredible and thoughtful. But they sold out to the men and women in blue. CANCELLING Live PD; a show that depicted the realness of the job these brave men and women do every day. A show that gave an insiders look into the daily plight of law enforcement; the dangers, the outreach, the REAL police of this country. If a LEO is reading this now, I’m sorry you’re under attack right now. I know that you despise dirty officers that abuse their power more than anyone. #IGY6

It’s weird the shows are great but no walking dead so you guys need to add it!?

The sheer amount of ads really keeps me from enjoying the programming content. I just watched 6 ads, get five minutes of content, and then I am forced to watch another 8 ads. And it’s the same ads over and over ad nauseum. It really prevents me from being able to get into the show as I find myself disconnecting every time they come on. I don’t think I’ll be using this app much after I finish the initial show I wanted to watch on it. A&E needs to just give people the option to pay for ad-free programming or they’re going to lose more viewers like me.

This app is amazing. There aren’t many shows that I watch, but for the ones I do, I have no issue. My only complaint would be the excessive amount of ads. For someone who has maybe a 30 min break on work, it would be hard to catch up on 1 hr long shows. The most you’ll get in that 30 min break would be about 10-12 minutes of content.

They literally streamed the same commercials over and over with no shows. Great if you love Papa Johns..... not so great if you don’t

This app needs to figure out a better way to implement commercial content.

I do not have an issue with commercials or the amount of commercials because I understand that is part of television viewing but my problem arises from commercial breaks. On this app (and the lifetime one, wonder if it’s the same developers) the last minute before the commercial played the shows video but the audio for the commercial and then after the commercial it buffers and sometimes does not resume the video. I still use the app bc I like the shows but it is not the most pleasant viewing experience. This happens when I stream to my chromecast. I don’t know if it happens only on my phone because I do not watch shows on my iPhone. I’ve used the app on and off for probably a year and it always happens.
