Request for a new report

CheddarBob247

First off, loving the app! Simple and effective, exactly what I was looking for. I would love to see a report for a rolling 30 days expense tracking... how much has gone in/out just from current day back 30 days, and able to include/ exclude categories. Give me this, and I’ll give you a 5th star! :-)

Great overall, but need one minor tweak

Great app that I’ve been using daily for years. Only thing I’d like to see added is for the spending by category report to account for returns (negative spending) when summing up. Other than that, it’s great.

Customizable and Flexible

I’ve been using this app for several years and absolutely love it! It gives me the ability to track everything - including checking and savings, loans, credit cards and retirement accounts. When I originally searched for an app, almost every other one on the market tries to simplify and do so much for you, which unfortunately takes power away from the user. I wanted a way to simply keep a checkbook style ‘file’ of every dollar spent and earned without too much else getting in the way. This app does exactly that! One future improvement I’d love to see: allow us to add ‘pending transactions’ that don’t affect the total balance on an account. For example, if I know a paycheck is coming on Tuesday, I want to be able to enter it into my checking account without adding to the total balance. Maybe a toggle to add/remove the amount in a similar way the accounts level works where you toggle an entire account to apply to your balance or not.

Almost perfect

For a free financial register, this is a very good application that is easy to use with a good number of features. I would give it a 4.5/5.0. 1. Please add the ability to post a recurring transaction. As an example, let’s say I have a number of automatic payments scheduled over the next two weeks. I want to show them as pending in the register as a reminder. Can you add a feature to post an entry from the recurring list so that it is written to the associated account, and updates to the next scheduled date in the recurring list? 2. Add the ability to obligate a transaction. In a similar vein, I may want to make an entry that I know I will do next week, so I enter it into the register as an obligation. But, it would be helpful to be able to distinguish that transaction from an obligation to a commitment. In other words, enter it ahead of time as a reminder (and to reserve the funds). When the day comes I then do whatever and make that transaction. Then, once I’ve done it, I can switch from obligated (a mere reminder to do something) to committed (I’ve actually done the thing). 3. Give me the ability to hide accounts that are no longer active, without losing the transaction history associated with them.

Transactions will not sync accurately

Not a very good app. I have it on my phone and iPad. You can sync this app regular, do a backup, whatever and it still misses some transactions from one device to another. I can’t handle the inaccuracy between devices. Drives me crazy. I’m done with this app. You got my $3, moving on now.

I gave it five stars anyway. I love it so much.

Hi, I absolutely, positively Love this program. I’ve been using it for a year now or so. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is for the same reason another person mentioned, the inability to see in the future. I want to use reoccurring expenses so badly but I can’t because, I need to see into the future a month at a time so, I can’t use the feature for reoccurring expenses, because they don’t show up until they are due. So, I have to add all my expenses, and all my income by hand each month so they all show in the register on the dates they are due. Also, a jump-to button would be wonderful, so when I click on, “view all reconciled transactions”,I can choose where I want to go and not have to scroll all the way down to the current date a little at a time from last year to get to the current date area. Other than those two things, this program is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Before I bought the paid version I used the lite version, so I’ve had experience with both of them, and they are both great. I found a partial work-a-round for Reoccurring entries. I put them in the reoccurring area and give them all the same date (The First of the month) Once they are in there I adjust the dates to reflect the due dates! Then I can see the entire month. If something is due every two weeks, I just add it under monthly twice, and then adjust the dates once it’s in the register. Works! But, would be nice to have a button to add them when we want to.

Love the app but .......

Baysue

Love this app. Been using it for almost 7 years. Giving it 4 stars only because I cannot find a way to archive data to free up space. Please create a way to archive past entries and remove them from register without changing current balance.

Luddites beware

Ok. Ok. I never review apps, but this one is truly amazing. Simple bones with intuitive self training tools and options. I have gone from a paper checkbook register to this in minutes and love love love it. If it could be dynamically shared on multiple devices, it would be even better! Spend the money on this one!!

Love This App!

Accounts2 is way better than Quicken mobile App. Works great, easy to use. Transfer from accounts to another is easy quick and simple. Highly recommended!

Not consistent

My app works great and then doesn’t work. I really like it when it does what it’s supposed to do but get so frustrated when I spend a ton of time trying to get it to work. Also, trying to find help is next to impossible...
