I’ve used this for years and love it. However, I forgot to back up before a phone reset. I now have iOS 15 and when downloading from banks then uploading to app a lot of info is missing and balances are in correct. I have reached out on FB but pages appear old and in monitored. Sorry for this direction. I also tried the different export extensions offered

I have tried a number of highly rated financial planning and bank account register bookkeeping apps. Money pro, Quicken, and a couple others that were duds. This one is awesome so far, but I've only been using it for a couple weeks now. But I really like it! I wish the developers would add the capability of 2 things: 1) To be able to save the opened app transaction screen I'm on when switching back-and-forth among apps. Often I will check my bank account app in the middle of entering a transaction into the Accounts 2 app, but if I am specifically entering a split transaction, the information I have already entered into the split fields disappear when I go back to it. If you're just entering a regular transaction that doesn't require a split category,It looks like it saves that transaction app window screen after going to another app in the meantime. 2) Also, I would love there to be the little calculator capability in the transaction total field, like there is in the split transaction fields. I keep track of my budget categories by keeping a running total at all times, adding to the amount each paycheck or taking away from the total when we spend in that category. Now I have to do the calculations on a separate calculator app, instead of being able to use a calculator within that transaction total field. Money Pro has this capability and I loved it! I do have to say that Accounts 2 app has a perfect reconciliation capability and I absolutely love their budget reports! Very helpful and easy to use and understand!

Check number entry needs to be fixed

I've used this app for a while and love it. With the latest update you can no longer enter a check number. It’s like the box for the field is too small and when you tap on it nothing happens. Please fix. Ignore my complaint above. I had the screen Zoomed which caused the problem with not being able to enter a check number. When I changed to Standard it worked fine.

Not sure why it’s so unreliable for entering the actual amount of money on an entry when it’s a new vendor. It’s sometimes necessary to keep tapping that part of the screen repeatedly to get the cursor active in that part of the form. Also even more difficult to enter a check number; same issue. Been like this a long time. I have my display settings on zoomed so maybe that’s the source of the glitch.

I love using the app for check registering and reviewing my monthly spending. I have used it for the past couple of years and it has been very helpful to have at my fingertips to add transactions. After reviewing I realize that I need to budget! Can something be added to set budget amounts and report your balance in each budget line? Also, when I return an item at the store it goes into the salary or earned money transactions. Can we have it so that the item I return, such as clothing, subtracts from my total clothing expenditures so that I have an accurate look at my spending?

This application would be amazing if it had a look ahead/future option I’ve been using this app for a really long time and that’s why I keep it because of the history but, I use another application that gives me the balance in the future it just makes budgeting so much easier and it’s a very valuable tool. I hope the owner of this application hears me me. PLEASE CONSIDER ADDING THE FUTURE OPTION.

Update 10/24/21: After the most recent update, the search feature isn't properly formatted on an old iPad. Top of the page is missing. Please fix! Update 10/24/14: As mentioned by another reviewer, the number format has changed in the recent release and negative numbers are no longer shown in parentheses. The old format was better. The app does crash occasionally, but I'm always able to go back in without any issues. I was looking for a simple app to replace my paper checkbook. This one is perfect. As more history builds up, I could see the need for reports tailored for the current year. . . thinking tax return, etc. The base product is strong so I'm hoping that more features will be added. Updating with one other suggestion . . . Would love to be able to flag tax-deductible items!
