Numbers are off

I like this app, pretty simple to use. The only think with this app, I’ve noticed when I put in charges towards the account. After some time the account balance is off, and I’m pretty through putting items in my check book. Any suggestions I would appreciate how to fix that.

I’ve been using this app for a long time now and love it!! However, I would love an option to sort by category in the reports.

Almost great

I love how simple this is. I just wish the debits would not be red if the balance is not negative. Is that a thing I can change.

Retro Review - Final Entry

The Peab

Update 11/3/21: My final entry for this app. I'm all but certain this app is abandon. If it still works for you then fantastic, because I really liked everything about it except the items listed in my previous review, below. But, don't waste your time or get stressed because the developer doesn't respond. Which leads me to my final point for this entry: I really think Apple needs to have a system in place that warns users when a developer abandons their app. This kind of stuff is uncalled for. Cheers ========= __________ The number one [#1] desirable thing with this app is ... It is not a subscription. Number two - It is basic without missing all of the basic function of a good home accounting product. I have used the first version and the second for several years. Here's the "but" ... Syncing has always been problematic. Both the first version and this second one would go for long periods with no issues - then boom - syncing issues that would require me to disconnect my desktop and other mobile device from cloud sync, delete those databases on those devices, then reconnect them and do a fresh download of the "master" database, which is my iPad. Also, syncing on all devices was always very slow. After struggling with these two issues for a couple of years I finally decided to start a search for an alternative. I found one, it's good, it's expensive - and most despised of all - it's a subscription. I don't know what Apple  does with their cloud services that drives so many developers to give up and revert to 3rd party services, or just give up all together, but, I wish they'd fix it. When iCloud works it's the way I want to sync things that need syncing, I don't prefer DropBox or any other cloud service for syncing, but clearly iCloud has ongoing conundrums that are very challenging for developers to overcome. If there's any way to get this fixed I'd sure like to come back to Accounts 2 - very very much would like that. Thank you very much for attempting to deliver a perfectly priced product that hits the nail right on the head.

Great app to replace another checkbook register app that stopped working

Frustrated CPAP USER

I had been using a different checkbook register app from 2015 until around June 2020 when the app stopped syncing between devices and the developer wasn’t providing support anymore. This app is even better and usually syncs between my iPad and iPhone, but sometimes I have to back it up and upload the backup from one device to iCloud and download the backup on my other device and then it starts syncing again. Like I’m going to have to do now…but it’s been a nice replacement and keeps me from inadvertently overdrawing my checking account, which was the reason I decided to start using a checkbook register app back in 2015. Haven’t had that issue since I started using this app, so I’m happy with it.

Worked great until it didn’t

This was my go to checkbook register for a long long time. Even tho it claimed to do things it didn’t do and promised more that never came, I didn’t need a lot of bells and whistles. But then it started freezing up every two transactions or so. You’d have to completely close out and go back in. I tried everything to fix it. The designer’s help page was built in the 1800’s. Their Facebook page hasn’t been updated since 2018. When you try to “report a problem”, it tells you that you didn’t pay for it in the last year so you can’t lodge a complaint (whaaaaa??). My last ditch effort was to delete and reinstall. Where I lost everything. And even tho I supposedly regularly backed it up to iCloud, suddenly there was nothing there and nothing on iCloud. So I’m done. There’s WAY too many other apps doing it way better now. Goodbye Accounts, hello Mint, I guess?? ?

Great reports

I really like the expense vs income pie chart and expense/income trend line. However, on the expense vs income pie chart, it would make more sense to have % income spent/ saved instead of the current % on income and expense that doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Sexy Little Deaf Girl

Your app is very good and easy to use but since the last app update I’ve noticed a problem. Now when entering a transaction the category section runs over the date of the transaction. Both of those should be easy to read like it used to be. Please change that back so I can easily see what my transaction is for and the date it was done.
