Glorified adware that doesn’t even do its one job right – Route: Package Tracker Review

I installed this app to track the delivery of a single package. After a convoluted setup process that involved more personal information than I wanted to give, the app sent me exactly notifications regarding my delivery. 1. Shipped 2. Delivered Both notifications came over two hours after I had already received emails from the shipper updating me of the status. Even when I manually ran the app to check on my package I was shown nothing other than a random pin in a map that was zoomed in to the point of being useless. I had to zoom out to even get an idea of the city and the app didn’t even provide an estimated delivery date. And exchange for that you have to disclose to them the contents of any packages that you are tracking!!! But what this app is good at is sending you advertisements. In the one week that I had this app installed I received EIGHT (8) notifications that amounted to nothing more than ads. DO NOT RECOMMEND
