Dead On – PlatterSpeed - Vinyl Tool Review

Luckily I own a splendid calibration record from the 70's I bought at a Salvation Army for a buck. It was mint. This app locked right up with my tones and I mean exactly in sync. It is the only app that I calibrate with that does not jig at the exact frequency you are locking up. You are on or off, sharp or flat. No mini-increment hassles. The sensitivity of the app is calibrated to be less sensitive thus throwing out the overtones and the mic responds to this perfectly. Too bad the maker has not developed any other alignment apps or tone generators/spectrum analyzer apps. I like exact readings. I don't enjoy over sensitive apps that are jolted by breathing and have you tweaking a piece of gear as it never locks in and stays exactly in it's frequency reading point.
