Midlife Crisis Santa and Red Carpet Mrs. Claus
ALAK97

I’m a huge fan of Big Fish games, and while this one is fun, what’s with the misogynistic depiction of Mrs Claus? The ridiculous pose? Keep them close to the regular depiction. I get an update but this is ridiculous. Other than that, the game is fun.

Fun until it locked up!
MissyBama

Locked up for about two hours in Brothers’ bedroom. Finally decided to work again but then locked up in Jack Frost’s bedroom. Very annoying after paying for this game. I do not want to restart but I guess that might be my only option.

Great Game
Proudwvtomboy

I really enjoyed this game! Beautiful graphics and I liked the storyline. Loved the elf’s name lol! Really enjoyed the interactive scenarios, how the hidden object areas were set up to play, and the mini games! Some of the mini games actually made me think a little. This would have received 5 stars, however, as with all these games....my complaint is how short the game is altogether. For $6.99 it just seems too short in my opinion! Other than that I have no complaints!

Perfect for kids

My granddaughter (6) and I had fun playing this game and solving the puzzles together.

Enjoyable
Wasting time on games

Glitches, if any, have been fixed. I only bought it this week when it was re-released. Was able to play through the entire game except I did not find even one puzzle piece!?! Very Christmasy.

Glitch in game
Blueskies67

There is a glitch partway through the game that doesn't let you proceed. It gives you an error message and won't let you retrieve a part you need to continue.

Faulty software that stops game with black screen
Jlhist64

Big Fish needs to go back or whoever designed the game and fix the program that crashes this game. Only 15 minutes into game then a black screen appears and that's it. Graphics are outstanding but it doesn't mean anything if game crashes. Also for beginners, the puzzles are tough without good hints. Next time concentrate on the software and get that working properly before you work on the graphics and artwork. DO OVER AND GET IT RIGHT NEXT TIME!!

Great game

Lots of holiday fun

Toll the Ancient "Yultide" Carol! La La La La La La La La La!

Attention Players: If anyone wants to play a newly released HOA, there is a new one out by the developer, Absolutist, called "Space Legends: At the Edge of the Universe." I did not play it yet, but it costs $2.99. Unfortunately, you cannot play a free trial at this time. We return to yet another charming, whimsical tale of a magical world full of festivities, holiday spirit, and, of course, a little mischief. You will feel wholly immersed within the environment by such enchanting, Christmas-oriented scenes, which illustrate an authentic portrayal of the Christmas tradition. As you make your way through the snow-filled streets and hills, you will be stimulated by the appropriately themed details, such as the Christmas trees decorated with multi-colored lights, candy cane-striped balls, golden-glittered garland winding all around; bow-topped presents scattered underneath the tree and everywhere you go; the scintillating lights and wreaths hanging from the houses; and, of course, Santa with his sled full of toys led by his reindeer. Unfortunately, it's not all as merry as it seems; you have to deal with Santa's twin brother, who is turning all of the elves into his devilish minions. At least I'm happy to tell you that I am included on Santa's "Nice" list and not on the "Naughty" list! There is a mouse helper in a puzzle for those of you with phobias. The graphics are visually faded and impure; they need some refinement to clarify the vast, intricate details. The bright, incandescent lights from the holiday decorations radiate out against the contrasting bluish monochromatic backdrop. You can customize your settings, but I still have sparkles for the HOS ONLY. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In addition, the pop-up of inventory items did not bother me or affect gameplay. The diary is restricted to storing snippets of acquired notes, postcards, etc., and replay of cut-scenes. The teleport map enables transport to desired, labeled locations and indicates available objectives; however, there is about a two-second delay before transporting. The HOS are comprised of objects presented in true holiday form; they consist of assorted, interactive fashions. I love the one where you find items in accordance with narration in order to advance the story. The puzzles are holiday-oriented in nature, and they relate to the actions in progress; for example, you use your mouse helper to rotate pipes so that she can crawl through them to lower some gifts. The collectibles appear to morph, and there are multiple morphing objects within each scene. Transition between scenes is slightly lagging by a second or two; other than that, I've had no other issues. I prefer this story over the one from the last holiday game; however, I miss those wonderful, immersive background animations that are now absent from this game. Either way, this game puts me in a happy mood; and I hope it does for you as well.

Bugs
Dayatou

Can't proceed past brothers room. There is a division by 0 error that impedes further progress. Not good. Paid for the game. This is the 3rd game that I've purchase that gets stuck in the middle because of buggy software. Please fix it.
