Love it

Lkeeler

This is the only app I use every single day. Many times per day. Wonderful group of friends on YouFood. If you are trying to lose weight or just eat healthy, get this app. If you are going vegan or nutritarian, etc it helps you find your community. Because of YouFood, I figured out what to eat as a nutritarian, got recipes from real people, food ideas, commiserate about common problems, etc. I achieved all my goals so far. Lost 40 pounds and kept it off, eating healthy for 2+ years now. Never thought I could achieve this, but I did! YouFood is amazing help for me.

Nothing redeemable

Fymc17

I was a big fan when this app was still called TwoGrand. Suddenly they changed the name, implemented a pay-to-use, and kicked all their old customers off. All my photos/entries were deleted. I can no longer find them. I mean...I made those posts when the app was free, at least let me see them. I spent hours and hours on them. I'm infuriated. Talk about customer loyalty. The cherry on top is I wanted to actually give YouFood a try and opted for the 7 day free trial. Set up my account and preferences but every few seconds it still goes "oh! No subscription!" And kicks me off. Then I have to go through the whole setup process again. This happened 5 times in the span of a minute or two and I decided to just give up. 1) TwoGrand needs to get their coding together before charging for dysfunctional apps. 2) I hope TwoGrand realizes the mistake they made. I wouldn't be surprised if they alienated almost 100% of their previous clientele.

Disappointed

KMS2015

I totally agree with Fymc17! This app *was* fantastic, and I've loved using it since 2014, back when it was still called TwoGrand. However, I was just kicked off the app - signed out with no warning and no ability to sign back in. It really shows that there is no loyalty to those of us who have been around for awhile. I've had other apps that made such changes over time, but those apps considered their users important enough to grandfather in. I'm very disappointed with this makers of this app now. It's bad enough to start charging a user who has been around since the beginning. It's even worse to kick us out with no warning at all. Guess I'll look for a different method of tracking meals.

Subscriptions

Hetalialuvr4

I remember back when this was TwoGrand, and though the new subscription cost is low, it's very disappointing that I've been shut from a community I've been in since 2015. It shouldn't cost 3$ a month to post an image on a board. It's absurd. Sorry, not worth the new, disappointing price tag. Would've been better if it had been for special features.

Was once my favorite app, but...

aseagreen

I've loved this app since it was TwoGrand in 2014, and after coming back from a short break I was disappointed to see the changes in place. I don't see any additional features or benefits that differ from the old free version, so for me I can't justify the $30/year cost ($36, if I decide to renew monthly). The creators don't seem too receptive of users' feedback on the matter, so I'll be looking elsewhere.

Used to be good. Now it's not.

Hello Kitty, Esq.

Used to be free which was great! But now that it's paid, I couldn't get friends to use it so there's no point anymore. So stupid!!

Good

Well I can understand the other folk's disappointment with this app and it's drastic changes. However I am new and was not a two grand user. I have dieted forever and my poor brain won't let me count/track calories points or anything else anymore. Research absolutely confirms that diets are counterproductive in the long run. That said, I am enjoying this app...I am also sharing pics with a friend daily of intake and so far it is helpful...I think twice...three times, four times before eating because I am committed to posting what I eat. I love the concept and my brain can relax and not obsess about numbers.

Greedy pigs

PpstarStream

The developers are greedy pigs. This app used to be free. Now it's charging users $2.99 a month. Not even start off at $0.99. Do the developers think their users are idiots? There's are plenty of other free apps that does the same and has growing communities. So no need to waste time or $$$ on this one. Ok top of that existing users who do not decide to pay lose all their data. Pretty horrible customer service indeed. Forget these greedy pigs. Try another food journal app. There are plenty others that does same for free!

Glitchy and Overpriced

Kazooie33

I love the format and community of YouFood, much moreso than other similar apps. I would gladly pay a small one-time fee to use, but the subscription seems absurd. Even so, I decided to shell out for it for a couple months. But the app continually boots me out and asks me to sign up for the free trial. Ridiculous. I'm giving it 2 stars because I think it has potential, as it used to be great. Fix the bugs and lower the cost!

Hate the change

Kriselle808

Used to be free and amazing but then switched to someone else and now it charges a month.
