They wouldn’t stop calling me. Like 5-10 times a day. If I blocked the number they would call back from another area. They manipulate the reviews to be “not recommended” if they are positive and “recommended if they are negative. The “non recommended” review doesn’t affect your ratings and are completely hidden. They claim that it is based off of an “authentication algorithm” but the sales guys pitch that they can get the low reviews removed. This is slight of hand and extortion.

If you are willing to pay hundreds dollars a month, your clients’ 5 star reviews will be set as recommended reviews. If you are tired of yelp’s computer based selections of reviews(bc you are not paying), you just like to take off your listing, it’s not allowed. The representative said that this crap website is by law protected. You don’t have a law protected right to choose not using a social media. If yelp didn’t lie about their law protected crap, I will appeal that lawmakers should reconsider to give right to business owners to choose using or not using a social media as yelp to protect business owners not getting ripped off by this crap media yelp.

They let someone write a bad review and when i wanted to defend myself and give my side of the story they wont let me. I have to send them a picture of me. This woman made up lies about my business when i called they didnt care she said so much bull and they let it stay there if they had half a brain and read what she wrote they would of band her from yelp.

Yo caí en la promoción de 300$ es un engaño total. Hice la prueba unos días luego que revise y no obtuve resultados hice la cancelación y ahora me están cobrando 250$ de la prueba que realice. Esta app solo sirve para robar a los negocios que se afilian.

Unscrupulous, deceptive business practices - charged $80 for a “free” ad campaign

I got years of constant calls and high pressure sales also and I agree with other users that Yelp Business does deceptive practices and believe the company should be investigated. They offer $300 in free ads (which funny enough, when I complained about these not free charges, the telephone rep said “We don’t do free ads.” Yeah, you should put that on your site. With these “free” ads, it’s written that you can choose how much you budget, even though it’s written in the app that you budget $10 per day on the free ad campaign, the woman on the phone claimed they could not control how much ads were per day. So the budget is a lie. If you start your ad campaign not on the first day of the month, they don’t tell you when you sign up on the campaign that it’s done per calendar month, so you only get a fraction of the $300. Nowhere on their ad campaign page does it say it’s per calendar month. So although I had a campaign for less than 30 days at at $10/day budget, I was charged 2 separate charges of close to $80 for a “free” ad campaign. I was amazed how rude and unkind the customer service people were. I deleted my Yelp apps. What an unscrupulous company!

Do you want do a business with Yelp? Please, don’t!!! Don’t do it!!! Number one scammer is Yelp, I thought it’s me, but Yelp much, much bigger than me and you!!! Without any Yelp’s help, you can do it your business, just believe yourself and what you doing. Good luck without yelp

I truly would like to give a big shout out to Sears automotive services at pearl ridge. They are so professional at their job. They answered my questions, took my car in and reassured me. They treat me like a family. I really, really especially want to thank Gil Tabuyo Magbual. He was so helpful and went out of his way to give me the best customer services. Such a trustworthy humble man, thank you sooo much Gil. Base from my experience and being in a Customer’s shoe, no doubt I would recommend Sears Automotive services at pearl ridge.

Business should have more power over their profiles and reviews should be regulated strictly. There should be a team only focused on fake reviews. The fake reviews are so many and obvious that they shouldnt go under an algorithm. Business suffer. My business has five 1 star fake reviews with a bunch of nonsense written in it and yelp has done nothing for 3 years now. This is outrageous. We work 100 hours every week for our business and this is what yelp does to us??? What happened to human ethics?

You need to have landscape picture available when using the app on the iPad. It is frustrating having to turn the iPad to view. I cant use the keyboard because of this
