I used to like this app and would view it on my Apple Watch. It stopped working and all I get now is "Oops".

If you just want to hit the high points, Yahoo News does a good job. It is my choice when I don't have time to wade through the flood of stories that make every day's news. The links to other sources keep it coming if you want more perspective.

Apple Watch app is completely not working. also when I scroll near the end of news list, the screen immediately jumps to the very bottom while I was still reading the headline.

Thought I'd try the app again after not being impressed when it first came out. That was a mistake. There was an article about Mexican farmers using fireflies to save a forest. Sounded interesting so I read it. Unfortunately, it made NO sense at all and never explained what the fireflies had to do with anything. I noticed that it had been "Summarized by Yahoo!" so I clicked on the link to read the whole AP story. Aha! Suddenly all was clear. It made me wonder just who is editing these stories and why? Is it a person or a computer program? Anyway, the end result is completely ridiculous. Yahoo, don't waste my time. Deleting again.

Downloaded this for the watch app, didn't work at all. So I recommend deleting it like I did.

I read Yahoo news digest every morning. Just enough to know what I should, just the right length, and perfect variety across categories.

Nice layout, easy to use, mostly regurgitated stuff done better elsewhere. Still, for a quick scan, this is a great app. I do recommend this to my friends.

I thought this app would allow me to pick and choose from a long list of news stories and search for subjects that interest me but it doesn't. It cherry picks a few of the "top" stories and that's it. If you want your news spoon fed to you, then this is the your app. Not for me... Deleting.

Pros: great selection of most relevant headlines, good balance between brevity and detail, nice design, brilliant concept (twice a day digests) Cons: sometimes needs major proofreading, often lacks analytical insights, and I don't give a **** about Matt Bai!

Used to work fine but a few days ago it stopped working. When I open the app it says "Oops something happened but we'll be back soon".
