Why oh why can I never get national news. There is always the message "oops try again later" and yes I've deleted and reloaded many times to no avail.
Just what I was looking for, from Yahoo no less. Who would have thought?

I was looking for a quick briefing on what was going on so I can decide what to dig into deeper. Between this and Quartz, I'm well versed on what's going happening each morning. I thought Yahoo was only good for finance for the longest time. Can't believe I'm going to say this, but great job Yahoo!

I loved this app when I started using it 3 years ago. I used it daily to keep up to date and be able to converse in major current events. Ever since about January however the tone of 2-3 articles per day has been about the campaign. Not reporting on the campaign mind you, but rather to slam Donald Trump and idolize Hillary Clinton. Trump is an idiot and borderline racist, we know this, but Hillary is a liar and a sad candidate as well. That being said why not just report the facts and not make me roll my eyes when I get half way through an article only to find out it isn't news, but another unedifying slam-piece. I used to recommend this to my friends and coworkers who have busy schedules, but are smart and want to stay informed. Now I just suggest BBC or NPR, which is sad because Yahoo used to be the best of the best.

This news app only selects liberally biased news articles...It must be run by George Soros puppets! If you're okay with one-sided, biased news then you'll probably like it. Crooked Hillary and Obama supporters will probably think it's great! ?

This is a good news app. Worth 4 stars in my opinion. The layout, graphics and generally well written articles are informative. If you want to delve deeper, links are provided. That part is all good. HOWEVER, most any objective person can detect an obvious left leaning bias. It's Yahoo so that should not be a surprise. Nevertheless, I appreciate the positives of this app. I can sort out the tired, predictable liberal narrative and BS. Also, I go to other news sites such as WSJ which provides a good balance and both views. Overall, I would recommend this app but you need to have thick skin and think for yourself.

DNC leaks are out and the only story that is published in the morning digest is about Powell's opinion of Trump. Just another cog in the liberal MSM machine

Customizing your news subject isn't among this app's best features. In fact, I'd say that it's among the worst! YD strikes me as a Beta release with no update in sight.
Clunky, broken, Sloppy Editing

For at least six months this app has been my "go to" news source in the morning. I like the simple GUI and how it breaks down state federal and world news. However, lately the quality seems to be degenerating in terms of editing, formatting and writing. Quotes are broken and blocky, sometimes making no sense. Does anyone at Yahoo even care about this app anymore?
