iPhone 4 status

What happened to the record option? I used that all the time to schedule recordings for programs and sports when not at home. Why would you digress?

I love the remote but is there anyway to add a on and off button. The all power button that turns off the tv too? I think it’s pretty cool to do, say the kids are in the living room and it’s lights out, you can turn off the tv, etc

Not being able to record from app makes it kinda useless. I’ve read “copyright “ reasons but I can go on my tv with the remote and set to record so that sounds hollow. 2 stars only because you can see upcoming episodes. Can’t record them unless you go to your tv and use remote commit copyright infringement apparently. Comcast come on you already had a bad reputation you were just getting it better.

The latest update removed my favorite function, the ability to remotely set programs to record remotely with a smartphone or tablet.

Comcast is in court with TiVo’s new owner Rovi and it has cost consumers the use of remote ability to record using this app. This was the major advantage, and a big one, of the app. It made Comcast/Xfinity unique in the field. Solve the problem or you will lose to the competition who has this feature.

There is no point to this App. For some reason Xfinity took out the option to record a program.

I loved the DirecTV app I used to have. It was so easy to find shows and then record them from my app. This app has very basic functionality. It really needs to have the opportunity to be able to select shows record them all from the push of a button.

I have been a Comcast customer for twenty years and never had an issue until today. I’m traveling and logged into the remote app to schedule a recording and the function is gone. No warning. This feature was the only reason I used the app. I am always on the go and rely on the ability to schedule my TV viewing as needed. Since I will no longer be able to do this, I guess I no longer need Comcast. See ya!
