App freezes up

This needs a lot of work. I get a “no network can be detected” error (even though all of my other apps can access a network). and the app won’t fetch e-mail until I reboot my phone. This used to be a lot better - what happened?!?
Can’t open emails

I’m still having problems with the app. Emails won’t load. I have to close out and reopen the app multiple times.

This app works anywhere in the world if one is in a Wi-Fi environment. Consequently one does not need to have a fully functional data plan or, even more important, voice plan. You can easily reduce cost and still have full functionality because Wi-Fi capability is almost always available now.

Not a bad layout but constantly saying “error - no network detected.” I need to log out every time to reset the problem. Works fine on my Android device though.

Only get Xfinity Connect if you don’t really need to connect. The only benefit I get from this app is that I get notifications when I get email. If I actually want to read the email, I usually wait until I have access to a computer. If I click on the email in the app, I get the circular traveling dots that are asking me to be patient while the email loads. No amount of patience seems to help this process, as my phone eventually dims and locks. I unlock and try again, but alas, my curiosity as to the contents of the message must remain until I have other than mobile app access. Even the web browser access on my works much more efficiently than the app. This app used to be very fast and efficient. I’m not sure if it’s solely the fault of the app or if the Xfinity mail servers are overwhelmed by our entry into the 21st Century.

I don't like this app. It seems to get worse everyday, it freezes and just won't work. On some days it just doesn't open.

I rarely write reviews. I didn’t think this app could get any worse but it’s managed to break all records! I’ve switched my important mail to gmail. This has now become my junk mail address because it won’t update & once it does I can’t open my mail. Unbelievable!
