I have .ORG not .COM and can't use this app

Awkward Rube

Apparently you can only log into this app if you use a WordPress.com login. I only have a WordPress.org login. Yet the site keeps directing me to download this app, SMH. What is the point??!

Great app

Comments

Once there are approximately 100 comments on a site, no more comments are loaded. Why is there a limit on the comments I see in the app, but not on the website. I won’t be using the app until this is fixed

I used to love this app. Not so much now.

Little A's

I have used this app for years, blogging mostly from my phone. I have preferred it to the website, since it’s been so easy and user-friendly. However, recent updates are making me scream in frustration. 1). Why has the classic editor option been removed? WHY? Why not still give us an option to have the user-friendly way to edit? I hate the block format. For this reason alone, it looks like I’ll be forced to log onto the website every time I want to make a change, which is a real pain. 2). Why has the option been removed to link to existing content from my blog? This made it so easy to hyperlink back to posts that I’ve created. Now...just gone. Again, WHY?? It almost seems like the people making changes to the app never actually use the app in real life, because I see no reason to remove these features. This just creates more steps now. Open another page, search for archives blog posts, copy/paste, and come back to add the link in. Before it was one click. The purpose of an app is to make it easier. This app used to do that. Now...not really. Now I have to log onto the web version if I want to actually work without fiddling with the aggravating blocks. Seems like it’s just making it get harder. Wish I could go back to a previous version, honestly. ***edited 9/22/21*** I received feedback feom the developer and some of my frustrations have been addressed. The hyperlink issue has been explained and I can now use it. As has the archived posts issue. NOW my issue is still: I cannot upload photos into the app. It just never uploads them, and then it will not save the whole post. I lose all changes I make if I try to upload an image. It never gets around to uploading the images, so I have to go back online, where the post has not been saved/updated. Again—this is a real pain. I end up having to do everything twice. I like doing my typing in the app, but if it does not save the info, I’m sunk. It still leaves me working between the app and the web, not knowing when I’m going to lose info. Or I have to type the paragraphs, then go to the web to add photos. Just not cool. If this bug could be fixed this would be a great app.

So buggy

zenmoto

I just lost the blog post I’ve been working on for two days. Didn’t post. Not in drafts. Not saved in progress. This is not the first time, but it will be the last. iPhone app works. iPad app does not show any of my content in the my site area, just the name of the blog. But if I click on a comment, it links to the post. It’s inscrutable and incredibly frustrating.

Preview Pictures Now Don’t Display

NickName541

Nothing has changed, settings-wise, but now whenever we write on our blog and WordPress links it to our social media platforms, there is no picture or associated preview box as before this latest update. Disappointed at this and hopefully a fix will come quickly.

Fun and Useful

El Plebe de Santa Ana

I enjoy putting down creative writing or notes of inspiration. The site makes it simple to use for something fun and enjoyable.

Great app but freezes crashes

laurentta

I like the Wordpress app for blogging but Wordpress starts crashing freezing boots me off of it fix Wordpress

No multisite support?

Flexoffset

App connects nicely to self hosted sites but there appears to be no multisite support. I'll stick with my web browser for now.

Terrible. Block editor’s awful.

LL WP

My first review, ever, goes to this terrible app. Block Editor is awful. It’s impossible to use, overly complicated, and unintuitive. Lucky for me, this new Wordpress app does not allow any options for Classic editor. Wordpress keeps trying to stronghold its users into using the janky Block Editor. I regret updating.
