Options for pride?
MissLaurenNicole

At the risk of being attacked, I’d like to say that I don’t appreciate the app logo being turned into a rainbow for pride. While it is great for some, it goes against religious/personal beliefs of others. If you’d like to show your support, please make it where app users can opt in rather than force everyone to have a rainbow. Forcing the issue is just as insensitive and offensive as doing the opposite. Rather than automatically updating the app face, again, just let people choose for themselves. I’m quite disappointed that, for a platform that is designed to be personalized to suit and encompass a person, this isn’t customizable in this regard. This is a big issue right now. Please be more aware that without giving options, we are recreating the same problems with a different spotlight on it. I hope you read and take this into consideration. ?

Devastatingly Awful

Downloaded the app since an injury keeps me from comfortably using my laptop. Embedded widgets wouldn't work, and every time I tried to go to the settings page that popped up the app wouldn’t open anything. My app drafts would not sync to my browser draft at all and I lost two days of writing from the browser draft overriding my app one. I deleted the app, it was an absolute waste of time.

New editor broken on iPhone SE v1
SRC2011

I’ve been using the Wordpress app for years. The flow to add new pictures to a new post is broken on the iPhone SE v1; after creating a new post and giving it a title, I click the “+” sign to add a new picture. Rather than coming up with the “what would you like to add” flyover, it instead shows a blank screen. The only workaround I’ve found is to save the post as a draft, open the draft, and then click the “+” sign in the bottom left before typing any words. It’s also buggy to edit a different paragraph. Please fix!

iOS share doesn’t work with images
monodalia

Can’t ever share an image using the iOS share pane to Wordpress. The text will post but not he image. Just a placeholder. It used to work just fine, but not anymore.

Never worked
helenjohn

The app never worked for me. It just keeps loading but never does anything. Doesn’t matter if I have full bars or fast wifi.

Wordpress
Liked old

The blogging is great, but customer service is terrible. Almost impossible to get help

mostly unusable
bobbi632

I finally gave up and deleted this hot mess after drafting my 3rd blog post in as many weeks that couldn’t be uploaded, published, saved as a draft, or even previewed so I could copy-and-paste my thousand words of text into the dashboard in Firefox, which works just fine every time. Each paragraph had to be ported out individually. If there was a point to this app, I believe its been missed.

App beyond awful!!
Kdkat2011

The app and desktop versions don’t speak to each other, so updates aren’t often shared. If anything, the desktop is more likely to have the app version, but not vice versa. It’s also nearly impossible to upload images via the app. I hate the app!!

I’m not getting notifications for my followed sites anymore.
Breakingbay

I always have received notifications when a follower site posted an update. I haven’t changed any of my settings and just noticed that I haven’t been getting notifications for months. I thought my friend just stopped posting. But the posts are there. I have to go to my notifications in the ap and refresh them to see if something has been posted. All my notification settings are turned on and I am following the site. How can I fix this? I hate missing updates.

Thank You for Making It What It Should have Been

So glad you added editing tools! So much easier than the web builder for me. Although I have barely begun to use it, just browsing through the app I’m in awe. The old app was little more than an analytics tool and way to work with comments, which for me were few. It never solved my problems, but it looks like this will. I was literally about to jump ship to another builder with better mobile tools (ahem, Universe or Wix…) but I couldn’t justify the move when I already have so much content and widgets setup. It would have been a major process, and not likely to maintain all the features I’m using. I only work on my iPad—no desktop/laptop in my house—but find the web builder clunky and slow. I got used to it, but at the same time it drained my creative flow and I stopped wanting to work on my site… NOW I CAN GET BACK TO IT! Without the painful transfer out of Wordpress. Thank you! I hope you keep improving it. (Universe’s builder is beautiful visually, maybe take a cue. ?)
