Don’t waste your time

How difficult would it be to sync a Word app with a dictionary? Evidently VERY for this poorly designed & ill supported app. As a result, many common words listed in the dictionary go unrecognized and uncredited. Also, players are subjected to loud, intrusive, inane ads after every round. The premise of this game is good, but the programming and implementation is abominable.
Noisy ads have made this unacceptable

I’ve played this game for a long time. Tolerated original ads, then more frequent ones, then ads with sound tracks that could be turned down or off. But noisy ads that are inflicted on people around me have pushed me to delete this game. Too bad. I love it but I’m done.

I enjoy the game. Yes, the ads have increased, but I can deal with that. I have been playing this game for several years now. It’s just a fun unscrambling word game. Good luck!

Terrible ads. I’d rather pay for the app and have no ads. Some can’t even be deleted since they require you to download the advertised game app. I have to leave the game site entirely and then go back to get away from this. The older version had no ads. I don’t understand what happened and , btw, the ads are both dreadful and useless.

I had to update the app because of the iOS change. I do like the counter to tell me how many rounds I’ve done. Previously, I just guessed by the score. But these ads are ridiculous. So loud. And pervasive. I really do find it ironic that they are advertising puzzle and word games in a word game.

This used to be the only game I played. The intermittent ads were no big deal. About 6 months ago (like EVERYONE ELSE SAYS) they started playing LOUD video ads after every game. The ad plays at least 5 seconds, with no way to disable the sound! This makes the game unusable! I stopped playing it in March and just checked (June 6, 2018) and the incessant ads are still there! I’m so disappointed in the developers of this app. Did another company take over development of this? Whoever is responsible for the development of this app, FIX THIS!
Fun without ads

The ads pop up after every round now. This is no longer the best word scramble game around. I reinstalled the game to play again, noticed the intrusive ads were still intact and then deleted it. This game was to be used for relieving stress—ads are stressful! Don’t get it. There is no longer an ad-free game.

Yes the good old days are gone. And the developer and/or owner should be paid for their work - but this is outrageous. LOUD ANNOYING ADS every 2 minutes! You can’t even buy a paid version to get rid of them. So obnoxious that the game isn’t worth it.
