Turned my Withings monitor into useless garbage

Den L

I am an iPhone apps developer and this app is deplorable. The blood pressure monitor isn’t broken, the bad software is. App attempts to extort your email and password to use it. The UI is impossible to nav. The blood pressure monitor is/was a simple appliance so why not a simple app to use it. Just make my monitor function a-holes.

Unable to sync bpm

Bkb362

Not so much a review but a question. I cannot seem to pair my BPM to my IPad. I get to the device selection screen and nothing appears. My wife also has the cuff paired in an app on her computer. Could this be preventing the device from pairing to my IPad? Thanks

Disappointing

Dev2786

I have had issues with the data tracking for a long time and eventually gave up and primarily used my scale as one would use an analog scale. Recently, I decided to try syncing my scale again and using the app for the first time since the Nokia acquisition. To my disappointment, not only is the syncing issue not resolved (proven by two hours of going through every troubleshooting, resetting, battery changing process imaginable), the app itself which was once cumbersome but workable is now totally unusable. It looks like a lot of data is missing, and I cannot navigate back from the chart to the main menu. I’m using an iPad Pro, and the frame is cropped to about 20% of the screen. To my dismay, my investigation into this matter has shown others have experienced what I’ve experienced without resolution and resulted in dead ends with customer service. It is because of this that I am not even bothering with contacting Nokia, and I am investigating other options at this time.

Fails to Sync with iPhone X

k_davis_atl

If I could give this zero stars I would. I’ve used this with the Withings wireless blood pressure cuff and scale for years. The Health Mate app no longer syncs the blood pressure cuff data to the Heath app. The feedback I received was to contact their customer support team. Why not just fix the app?

Can't tell time...

buzzkill1958

My Aura sleep sensor can no longer tell time. Despite my Aura displaying the correct, the data down loaded is shifted forward in time by 3 hours. Very disappointing. Update: Getting better. Time data is fixed and Bluetooth sync with the BPM is working. But I can only stream music if I have a Spotify Premium account... what a rip off! Please support streaming from any audio app.

App isn’t reading body composition

ReneeRoo

The scale tells me the numbers but for muscle mass, water, and fat the app just says there isn’t any data yet. This is a mess.

App crashes before it opens

Whoppededoo

Update:hey ,give you 3 more days to fix app or I switch to Fitbit, it's been over a week and no patch for your crashing app. The recent update causes the app to crash, does not even open! How about some quality control before release!? Getting it fixed soon?

Terrible Update

cavscout104

Absolutely love this app and Withings products (I use the Pulse, BP cuff, and smart body scale) and have been a beta tester. However, the latest update is terrible. The app is slow to open and won't sync with my devices. Please put up another update with fixes to these issues.

Update Fail

Matt Seal

Way to go guys, your recent update crashes the app. Been almost 2 weeks now with no resolution in sight. Get to work!

A UI designers nightmare. Also buggy.

The design of this software should be in the "what not to do" slide at UI school. It is an absolute mess. Confusing (such as graphs with no numbers or explanations on the axis), hard to find data, lots of useless info, and 7 different ways to say the same thing. And the latest update just added even more confusing and useless junk. Also, it only sometimes works. For example, it will only upload steps to your scale if you manually force sync the app the night before you use the scale the next day. Fortunately it pushes raw data to Apple's Health app, which cleanly displays what you want.
