FREEZES - DOESNT OPEN

Becky-All-Star

If I could give zero stars, I would. The app doesn't even open. It freezes and disappears before you even get to main screen.

Could Not Agree More

C_H_M

I have to say after reading all of these luke warm reviews that I couldn't agree more. Miserable user interface...yup. Too difficult to see the needed information easily...yup. Not user friendly...yup. I love the scale and the information it makes available. Having to use this app with a scale puts a damper on the whole thing for me though!

Pull data from Apple Health please

Polarstar67

This app has the potential to be great. So much useful data from Withling's excellent hardware. Leaderboards to compete with friends and keep the momentum going. But I think it is essential to pull data from Apple's Health app. People use different hardware and apps for various fitness activities... Many of these pool their data in the Health app... Surely this is a logical move?

Meh....It's usable, but needs a lot of improvement.

I'm hoping this app will get some revisions in consideration of the newly released Withings "Go" activity monitor. I waited for the Go to come out because it was supposed to be waterproof and I could clip it on, rather than wear as a watch. It's an ok device, but it's only as good as the operating software and the app it's supposed to work with and both need upgrading. As for this app, others have said it - it is awful from a user standpoint. The layout is clumsy, the menus are vague and lead almost nowhere. The activities tracking automatically are minimal, and even the option to add other activities manually is seriously lacking - there are about 36 (or more) sports activities listed for manual tracking, but only two of them are relevant for me, and the option to add an "Other" activity lacks the ability to name that activity and keep it for future use. Also, although I am sure the Withings Go ads showed the device clipped to a shirt or strap, I have found the tracking app isn't recording the information the same as if the device was clipped in my pants pocket. I know that is probably more of an issue to take up with the Go itself, but worth mentioning. Anyway, lacking a better option, I will keep using this app for now and also the equally dissatisfying iPhone's Health app, and hope for upgrades.

Super app

I love this app because it encourages you to do better!?

Needs work

Gamefreaker

I use this app with the WS scale, and it has a lot of potential. I agree it's clumsy interface is very irritating. Please update the app so it imports activities from the iOS activity app which contains all my exercise data from my Apple Watch. I don't "wear" my phone at the gym. Please please add this feature. This app just needs a few nips and tucks and it could be awesome!

Used to love this app not anymore

Chac69

My withings scale would link to the app with no problems, but not anymore...I find it in my Bluetooth and the app even finds but it gets lost in a continuous cycle of nothing...I disassociated the scale from the app...and now can't even get my scale to connect to the app...used to love my scale...guess it's time to see who's the new kids on the block...not these guys anymore...this app is a JOKE!

Great

Gregcheersykes

2 bugs: 1) Apple Watch needs some improvements with blood pressure cuff. Reading fails on Apple Watch but it works on phone. 2) Bluetooth scale (body analyzer) will not configure screen displays properly as I choose in app, just plain buggy. Fix: Room temperature doesn't sync very well, only like 1x a day, so I can't check realtime room temp. Annoying. UI is a bit confusing, the graphs for weight change are confusing and seeing weight over a time is more difficult than it should be. 1 page for weight and for list of weights. Great: Love that it integrates into Apple Health. Great and easy-to-use interface.

Was good step counter until last update

Skippy(pb)

The last update has messed up the step counter function, which is the main reason I have this app. Running iPhone 5. Update 1/12/16: last update said it fixed the step tracking error. Tried it last week and seemed to work. Just now walked a route that regularly registered ~2300 steps, but it only recorded ~300 steps. I had started the app just for that walk, and since it recorded something, but nowhere near actual, it must be the app again?! Yesterday (5/25/16) the step counter recorded typical ~2600 steps for 1.3 miles (per run keeper). Today, 3700 steps for 4 miles... wtf is the deal with this app!? I've had this a year and the step counter was solid last summer, but crap since iOS 9?!

No longer syncs via Bluetooth

Chimpden

The Withings BPM 40 wireless blood pressure monitor quit syncing with this app over Bluetooth, rendering it functionally useless. Withings' only apparent recommendation is to upgrade to iOS 9.3.2, which I am already running. Now I have a £100 paperweight for which I will be seeking a full refund.
