No problems here

What a great storyline. I read some other reviews about glitches but I didn’t experience any at all. The lag time between scenes WAS a little long however and my only other critique was that some of the shaded or darker areas in HOPs was too muted and I had to use hints to finish. Best part? Seemed I played forEVER and I like getting my money’s worth! Great story, great graphics and love that little Imp!

Elefun did this latest installment (each plays as a stand alone and the back story is told in the first few minutes) the Imp is back in all his cuteness! Collecting morphing objects and puzzle pieces. Custom difficulty but no diary, colors are rather dark and muted. Every scene is zoomable. Verdict:buy while on sale Update : Deducted a star for lag between every. Single. Scene. Got on my last nerve. You do get a map early in the game but the legend is off. The star that says morphing objects or puzzle pieces are available- the star doesn't mean you NEED to find them it means you FOUND them all. I spent a great deal of time looking for something that wasn't there until I figured it out. And I still want a darn diary!

This series brings back your adorable helper, Imp, who used to be your dog. He climbs or goes into small spaces to get objects for you. I enjoy hearing him "whine" like a puppy when he discovers a clue! Until I saw Lynn imprisoned by a tree, I had no idea that I was playing as her mother! (She screams, "Mom, help me!") The evil sorcerer was angry that Lynn married Edward instead of him, since Lynn is a witch. He turned her husband into a ball-jointed doll puppet! Your work is certainly laid out for you! As a doll maker who has made many ball-jointed dolls, I was thrilled with the accuracy of the illustrations and instructions. Good job, developers! The Hint is quite accurate, transporting you to the desired spot. Also a good Skip function. Many levels of difficulty also. In this one, be sure to collect puzzle pieces and morphing objects. I have enjoyed the Hidden Object scenes in this game. We are in for a stormy weekend, and I know what I will be playing!

Oh dear...

I'm embarrassed for Big Fish. The puppet that "fixes things" -- really? Ugh.

Once again a fun Witches Legacy game. However, once again I ask why are all Elfun games SO SLOW while moving from scene to scene. I almost did not purchase this game for that reason, but hoped Elfun had figured it out by now. No such luck. This is the last Elfub game I will purchase until I learn they have fixed the lag.

Where's My Broomstick? I'm Flying To The Moon!

REVISED on 9/16/16: This installment adopts a dark, fantasy-like theme in which supernatural occurrences and macabre culminations are combined with chilling suspense to invoke visceral sensations of dismay and dread into the heart of the player. The artwork demonstrates a calamitous and foreboding climate with frightening imagery, such as menacing, armored skeletons with swords blocking your way; giant, stone-turning vines with "deadly vision"; and aggressive, tree-like monsters bearing razor-sharp fangs and red-piercing eyes. The background animations are instrumental in absorbing one within the environment, as balloons burst open; beads fall off necklaces; and a deck of cards self-builds to form a stack - all upon touch. I enjoy the infrequent, teamwork approach in which you and your helper work together to perform various tasks to advance your journey. The colors reflect soft and subtle textures; the dominant, darker shades envelop the sparser, lighter ones. The graphics are satisfactory; however, they could be more refined and sharp. You can customize your settings; you are given the comfort of eliminating those uninvited search penalties and sparkles. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The map is faulty in that transport is very short of seamless; however, it labels locations and indicates available actions and morphing objects. The HOS are both unimaginative and deprived of variation; most scenes are recycled, which is an antiquated practice in 2016. Some of the puzzles are creative; I admire the one where you find the differences between pictures, in sequence, as you gain segments of the story. You have collectibles, which are quite challenging to locate; one type in particular will extend your gameplay, rather than just discovering them. Having said the aforementioned, there is one malfunction that overwhelmingly decimates any satisfaction: transition between scenes is staggeringly slow, and this impediment obstructs harmonious continuity. This delay lasts for a minimum of about 8 - 10 seconds resulting in extreme frustration. For this reason, as well as for mundane HOS and lack of a journal, I rate this game 2 stars. Bad luck at BF this week.

Disappointed

Thought this was a pretty big mess - Storyline felt very disjointed. Lost the teleporting map part way through the game. Found searching for what needed to be done frustrating. Definitely, not my favorite in this series. Looked promising in the beginning, then went down hill in my opinion. Maybe others can get into it, but not my choice. Thanks anyways. KdBoots

Would have been a 5 star...

Loved it but have to agree with Dracyy - it takes way too long to go from scene to scene. Made sure I was out of every other app and even restarted iPad. No joy, still super slow.

Fun and long game with twists

I enjoyed this one in spite of the creepy imp that is supposed to be cute and the incredibly long delays going from scene to scene. Lots of good puzzles.

If any other developer had done this game, it could have been a 5 star showstopper. Unfortunately, it was Elefun, who refuses to get up to speed so the game was incredibly tedious to play. Sad, because there were some very good elements. The settings were customizable. The graphics were beautiful, albeit eerie and a bit murky at times. The game was lengthy, and had a long bonus chapter. You have the Imp to help, along with a puppet who repairs items for you. Inventory was labeled, interactive and there were complex items to assemble. Objectives were regularly updated. The HO scenes had variation, and if you wanted a choice, you could play a card-pairing game instead. There was an excellent teleport map, marked with a star when all morphing objects and puzzle pieces were found. There was a wide variety of puzzles/ games, and I liked many of them. I even forced myself to do the boring rotational ones! There were no rodents, except in the HO scenes. So why did I dislike this game? First of all, there was no journal and we needed one. Secondly, I had to tap extremely hard to obtain items and I found inventory usage finicky at times. But the major reason is that loading time between locations and to enter puzzles and HO scenes was INTERMINABLE! For that reason the game was tedious and obnoxious rather than enjoyable. Seriously, BigFish, you need to set Elefun straight! They obviously do not take our reviews seriously. There is NO EXCUSE for lag time like this anymore! I wish I had read Dracyy's review before purchasing! I am SO OVER this developer. If a game isn't fun and enjoyable to play, what's the point? It's money wasted! My final rating is 2.5 stars and I am being generous! Lynxie sends ❤️?? to the DTE!
