Very Lame!
catalina5

I really don't see this getting any better. The music is irritating, the storyline is ridiculous, the hidden object scenes are way to small. Nothing so far but pointless running around. Would have thought that you would release a Good game right before Halloween - Not the case! This is definitely not good. In fact so far it is pitiful.Big Fish you really need to go back and give a free trial so that we are able to tell if it's something we'll enjoy. Please give us a different game for Halloween weekend - this is a very poor and pathetic game! KdBoots

Hey BF, what happened to free trials? Don't get a choice anymore? Real Lame! Oh, and don't appreciate the name you assigned to me! It's inflamtory!

More Like a Crescent Moon!

The story is that a Moon Queen is about to be chosen to rule over the world of light. Your Aunt Isabelle asks for your help because some evil witches plan to keep the world in chaos and darkness, and they attempt to do this by sending an evil dwarf to destroy the magic mirror. What's the big deal? Well the Queen cannot be chosen until the mirror is restored! Duh! Along the way, this menacing creature and these evil witches try to thwart your attempts to restore the light. Let me just inform everyone that you should choose your mode of difficulty wisely at the start of play because it appears that once selected, you do not have the option of changing it. I found out the hard way by selecting "Expert" mode. The good news is that the map helps alleviate any problems because when the locations on the map are "black and white", this means that there is nothing to do. Alternatively, when the locations are colored, there is something to do. So the "Expert" mode is not so expert after all. The map, which is the compass symbol and is located in the lower right hand corner, also had fast teleport and labeled locations. The graphics were nice and clear, using a full palette of colors. You had a diary, which has a Notes tab that records the story in progression; and it has a Tasks tab, which are your current goals. The inventory is labeled, but I have not encountered any assembly of items. The HOS are boring, junk-pile, standard word lists requiring little interactivity. The mini games seem to be very simple, even juvenile, such as tracing the scissors along the pattern on some fabric. My dog could have done that. You are collecting 15 pieces of glass shards and 35 morphing objects scattered throughout the scenes. The extras are the usual things, including replay of the puzzles. I did not experience any glitches, but the reason I gave the game 3 stars was because of the following: 1. No customization of difficulty mode. Come on! This should now be the standard trend to be able to have customized settings. 2. The screen tips at the top occasionally disappeared too fast, and I missed some info. 3. The "Back" function was very frustrating and temperamental. I had to click several times at times to be taken back a screen. 4. Boring HOS! There was no innovative interaction or unique mechanics as there were in the last few games. 5. The map, diary, and tasks functions were all cramped together at the bottom of the screen making it easy to click an undesired function. 6. The strategy guide was misplaced right over the inventory bar resulting in my hitting it numerous times. That said, it was still enjoyable with heavy use of inventory and many items to collect in each scene. The game felt slightly outdated though due to lack of imagination and innovation.

Witch hunters - hauntingly good

I'm torn on this one. Great characters! There is a twisted evil little imp who comes and messes up everything. You never know what he will throw at you next. Every witch is unique and has her own powers and must be defeated using different methods. Artwork is fabulous, characters fleshed out, morphing objects to find in every scene. Long gameplay and complex storyline. Cons: Transporting map good, but indicates tasks by showing map tile in color for active area, black and white for nothing to do here. Kind of annoying. Some taps seem a little off kilter. Occasionally the next move isn't clear and I have to hit up the hint button. Overall verdict: buy and enjoy!

Witch hunters- good game!

I actually like this game. The story makes sense for the most part, and the teleporting, labeled map is usable- if the scene is black and white, that means there's nothing to do there at this time; once it's in color, there's action available. Inventory is also labeled, no plus items though. There are morphing objects to collect. HOS are all lists, rather boring, but the graphics are nice and crisp. Mini games are interesting and mostly easy. Good voice overs. Haven't finished playing yet, but I'm half way done and I'm glad it's not super long.

Boring
Listen to rachel

Even in the hardest mode, it still spoon feeds you the whole game

Really Horrible Game

Liked it very much

Good game, Top Evidence! Beautiful artwork-I can always tell your artists' work-so very talented. Nice long complex story line with lots to do and many different places to do it. A woman wakes up in her bed to find a little demon and witches have taken over her home. She then has to work to defeat them all and restore her life. HOS, games and tasks are varied and some are unique. Still having trouble with the morphing objects-they are very difficult to find. And really, no gargoyles? You guys are the best at gargoyles! Thanks for the fun!
