I’ve been using this app for a while but recently it won’t download the pics to my phone. After reading some reviews, it appears that others are having the same issue.

Without a doubt the worst app I’ve ever used. Just take it down. You can either be connected to the WMU network or you can have the app open, but you can’t do both at the same time, so good luck taking a picture. Nikon, if you ever read this, please open source the API for the WMU so someone competent can write an app that works.
Make sure your Bluetooth is off when using this App with WIFI

I have been using this app with no problems until recently. It kept disconnecting. After turning my Bluetooth off, the problem was solved & all photos downloaded in record speed!

This app just can’t seem to keep up. I have been trying for 30 minutes to get 17 photos off of my camera and I’ve gotten ONE! The app freezes, closes itself, and just flat out doesn’t work.
This is the worst app in App Store

I have an iPhone XR and I used my Nikon D3200 for the first time in while. I took some pictures and wanted to download them to my phone. I have the WU-1a and the WMU app on my phone. The WiFi from the WU-1a does not connect right away. And when it does I cannot download a picture because it randomly disconnects. It’s very frustrating. I’m not sure if it’s the app that needs a new version to work with the new iPhones or if the technology is just old. Please help.
