Very good app if you rely on the wind to make your boat go.

The first day I used this app it seemed like I hit the jackpot. Forecast wind event was right on time. I live in an RV so need accuracy in reporting. As I type this, Windy reports winds of only 7mph while my other weather app is more accurately reporting the 36mph gusts we are experiencing. So I question the accuracy or ability of the app for real time reporting. We will see if it does better later this week when we are expecting another windy day. But a bit disappointed at this point.

I own many commercial fishing vessels. My guys are on the water every day. This application is a must have for anybody looking for accurate up-to-date weather conditions. Also allows you to click and add measurement points anywhere on the map. Tides, water temp, wind speed and direction, wave height and wind all on one screen. AWSOME! This is the best wind app available! 11/14/17. Update The recently released updates have made this program even better. Wind mapping and weather forecasting doesn't get any better than this app. 4/20/18 ICON is a great new tool. Hard to define zone are producing accurate forecasts on the Gluf of Mexico offshore waters.
