I use it to help me with winds in and around my practice area. I have to say that it is reasonably accurate out to a few days.

Well this app is awesome enough with the most precise info and accurate data for the estimate weather wind and factor to evaluate the condition of atmospheric environment ♻️ ???

I fell for it but the pro version is no different than the free one. I wanted the sailing alerts and local tides, so I bought it, but there are no alerts and no local tides. Nothing different from the free version. Plus the wind and tide info has absolutely nothing to do with what’s going on here. After several attempts to communicate with them, I got no response. They don’t care. They got my money. That’s all they care about.

I fly Radio Controlled Jets and the wind is a key factor for me in the decision making process to pack up and head to the field. It’s a planned event for sure. With that said, this App has been very predictable at future forecast and hasn’t let me down yet! Good work!

I check windy every time I’m considering going out on the water. It’s among the best wind forecast sources I’ve been able to find and easy to use. Just like PredictWind, my weather routing go to for navigation on long races, it relies on several forecasting models, but with an easy user interface for quick analysis of what kind of breeze I may encounter on a day sail or weekend trip.

I have literally purchased hundreds of apps and have never written a review for any of them. This app makes the exception and it made me break my rule. Where do i begin? This app. It is effective, easy with a gorgeous UI to match. If you think it's expensive, it's worth every penny. Let the development, packaging and presentation of this software be an example to all other app developers on how to do it right. Thank you!

I am a recreational gyroplane pilot and use Windy to help determine wind velocity and direction at my home airport during the week. It is a fast and easy way to plan ahead for the days and times that may be best for flying.

Don’t get the free trial because it’s impossible to cancel before they bill you. They make sure it’s impossible to get out much like the mob. Run!

Have used lots of wind forecast apps for sailing, kiting, this one is one of the best. Only one simple improvement that would really make it great would be if they coukd just add the capability to just create groups of favorite spots. Currently it seems they only allow one large list of favorites. Other wind apps you can create a groups of favorites.
