Live on an island. Accurate assessment of current and future weather patterns. Recommended. Was my companion through the hurricanes last year with very precise visuals of projected locations and wind direction.
Not accurate in my area

Cool idea if it were accurate. Perhaps in some areas it is, however it’s hopelessly wrong time and time again. Not sure how it gets it’s updates but as I’m writing this review it’s around 35 kts off the actual wind speed for little Island near Juneau Ak. Don’t trust this app as a marine wind reference.

I literally never write app reviews but I just have to for Windy. I use it obsessively and find it to be the most useful, beautiful, and accurate app out there. I’m a cyclist and I won’t clip into my bike without checking this app... heck, I won’t even go outside in the morning without checking it. Literally the best thing in the world.
Best weather app for boating I’ve used

I’ve purchased other apps to help with weather and coastal wave patterns. This one has everything grouped together nicely and is all in one. Would like to see the NWS and NOAA review.

Wouldn’t call this a weather app because it’s too specialized. I would call it a wind sports based weather app however. Any sailor needs an app like this. I personally love it!

This might be a good app, but I cannot find any explanation of the meaning of the symbols or what is being shown. I am a pilot and engineer and am still not sure what it is showing. A “Help Me” link would be really good

Top to bottom app that's easy to sort out and collects a wealth of information. I track conditions for surfing, fishing and the wind charts help for hiking conditions. There is more to it, check it out. ** Update- this app is also beginning to support small business related to the different hobbies it relates to. Bang up job!
