This app bans anyone who does not take a hard-left political stance

People argue about politics all the time. This is especially true on this app. Students on campuses will bash anyone who is even a little conservative by calling them racist and sexist. While I certainly agree that the trump admin fits this category, it’s not reasonable to claim roughly 50% of the country is racist simply because they are Republican or conservative. I got 30 people reporting me for saying “conservative does not equal racist. Please treat each other with respect. You can have civil conversations without bashing other people’s beliefs.” I got banned for this. I have been banned for about a month and a half now. I have messaged the creators 20 times over this time span. I asked them, “can you at least respond to me why I was banned?” And their response was, “you got banned because you were being disrespectful. You can certainly have an opinion, but you must keep it civil. I will unblock you within the hour, and hopefully you can behave.” It’s been 2 weeks since then, and I have not been unblocked. Most of the posts are NOT emergencies. In fact, some posts are fake emergencies, claiming people aren’t students on campus, but who are actually just really tired and sleeping in the library. I know, because I knew a few of the students who were being recorded from HS. They DO study at the specified university. They are merely tired from cramming info for tests. Yet, the “emergency label” for these people would say stuff like, “BEWARE: this man is a known sex offender stalking women on campus. If you see this person,report it to campus police.” The dude is a slightly autistic student studying history. They fell asleep in the library,and spend most of their time playing video games. Oh-and the guy is gay. He doesn’t even like women. But there existed 10 profiles saying they knew the dude. Either they’re fake profiles, or merely sheep herding around drama. I’m still currently banned despite being told I would be unbanned. Most of the posts are political,and if you post anything ranging from a desire to moderate a conflict of die-hard leftists or rights insulting each other you get banned. If you’re a conservative= ban. If you’re a leftist, it doesn’t matter if you get 70 people reporting you, you’re fine, and will go 5 weeks without anything happening-and if something does, it’s a creator making a comment praising the post. I’m a democratic socialist but I was raised by conservatives. I believe balance and civil conversations are necessary for peace. This is a app where leftists obliterate all contradicting profiles and posts, while dishing out labels such as racist and sexist for being even slightly conservative or requesting evidence of a specific political claim. It’s basically an unpopular, non-profit version of Facebook, except the app censors non-liberals (of which I am one, but merely request centrist level respect).

This app is good for asking questions and chatting/getting to know the people on campus. Different people use it for different things so it’s a little disorganized, but it’s useful and fun. 9/10 would download again

I love this app! As a freshman college student this app is amazing for finding out information about events, safety notifications, and meeting new people. It’s extremely helpful and informative.

As a new freshman, this was an easy way to get into the groove of school. I’d defiantly recommend it if you’re bored and don’t know what to do on campus.

I personally spoke with the creator of Wildfire. He really has great intentions and I personally love this app. It’s a great platform with no one calling each other out or exposing others. No bullying at all compared to other school apps that has no limitations and gives people the platform to harass others. This is a nice app to check what’s going on at school before your University even sends out a message to the public. It shows you that your fellow peers around campus truly care for your safety and to give you a heads up of anything dangerous. Definitely download this app, you’ll love it.

I love coming on this app everyday to see my college community communicate through the means of safety alerts, chatting for fun, getting helpful tips and even buying and selling items from others. I would seriously recommend this to anyone who doesn’t have it at my school and to those colleges that don’t have this amazing wonderful app.
