Recent upgrade doesn’t receive messages timely. So the notifications don’t work well- very spotty- go back to older version Bring back black screen- not as safe without it- nice option

Not so private - use signal instead

This app leaves a paper trail of every contact you talk to. Even if you delete the conversation. So silly that this is a thing with an app that supposed to be so privacy focused. There is no way to completely delete a contact.

Tried to find ‘help’ to set up after numerous attempts but no help found when will not set up software after initial setting up username and password .... frustrating.

Hey-you!
I downloaded this app a couple months ago and used to love how clean, simple, and effective can be used for communication. However the last two updates have really let me down. The app has been crashing, messages and pictures show that didn’t go through when in fact they did, and I’d rather the option to vibrate without the app being used, I personally don’t want the notifications options through my phone settings. Thank you for the awesome app, but please go back to what worked!
Needs GIF support (and not via keyboard)

The only reason I don’t use this more is the lack of native gif support. I don’t use third party keyboards because of data logging, but my friends and I use gifs all the time while messaging and we don’t like that we can’t use those on here. Also more intuitive delivered and read receipts would be nice. I’ve stood next to a friend and watched both screens while messaging to once and for all confirm what the checkmarks mean. It would be nice if that were more intuitive or obvious.

I love this app but it crashes every time I open it. The website has no guidance for this bug.

Download app, hit “create account”, then delete the app because the submit button doesn’t work. Lmfaoooo, can’t be bothered.
Suspended

The app is really good and works great .....that is until Wickr suspends your account because you are in active for a month or so. You cannot retrieve your stored data after suspension. This is not a good app choice. There are much better options.
