The only worthwhile part of this app is the discount code scan. And even then, you have to go through the whole sign in process to just get to that. There’s no Face ID or option to add the code to your wallet. You’d expect more, now that Amazon is in charge.
As of this time, the short description for this app is “Get the most out of every shopping trip.” That’s a sweeping promise, and it’s understandable that people who are looking to save time, not money (a major target audience for Whole Foods) would be miffed to download the app and find that it’s useless for them. I’m looking for an app that will let me minimize my in-store time during the COVID epidemic - thanks to all the negative reviews, I looked at the reviews before downloading and know this doesn’t have the functionality I need. But I’ve apparently downloaded it in the past, which means it would take less time for the marketers to fix this than the time I, personally, have already spent figuring out that their idea of “get the most out of every shopping trip” is very limited compared to mine. The app for Aldi does basically the same thing as this one and is rated 4.8 stars, because the short description accurately describes what the app does. Years worth of negative reviews, and Whole Foods still hasn’t made this simple fix?!
I can only use it as a shopping list, can’t order online like every other apps do, can’t search see if they carry what I’m looking for, I’m deleting it, I don’t know why I need it.
This app used to be awesome. Recipes to save and add to shopping list. Please bring that wholesome Whole Foods days back, Amazon!
Barcode disappears when I approach checkout. Have to resign in with email and password, enter confirmation text number and reopen. All while keeping people waiting in line behind me and trying to do face recognition with a face mask. This is by far the worst app I have ever used. Fails almost every visit to Whole Foods!
This is the most useless app I have ever seen. Expected something along the lines of Publix, Aldi and Fresh Market. I did not read the other reviews until after I decided to try it. Total waste of time!
Oh wow this app is truly terrible. I wanted a Whole Foods app that functions similar to the Kroger app. Specifically, I’d like to make a shopping list of available products, not just a general item name, but the actual product, (and whether it’s in stock) with the list automatically sorted by aisle so I can quickly find everything while at the store. Neither this app nor the Whole Foods via Amazon app have this functionality. I don’t shop at Whole Foods very often, and when I do I can never find what I’m looking for, the frustrating shopping experience creates a negative feed back loop, and I just shop there less and less. Get your act together.
This app performs the basic function of getting a prime discount and allowing for the creation of a list. However it lacks so many features that I have come to expect after using Target’s phenomenal app. This app sorely needs to implement so many features of the Target app to be worthwhile.
A long time ago, back in the Ice Ages, Whole Foods created an app. This app had recipe suggestions, coupons and most important...... ....a shopping LIST..... What every (ok, most shoppers) shopper wants to make trips quick and efficient (especially these days). It even could be linked between devices to add things from say your tablet and it would show up on your phone. Then they deleted the list. So I deleted the app. Bring the list function back, and I'll reinstall.
One of the worst grocery apps I’ve seen. Doesn’t allow you to search for a product. Only gives you the sale items.
