Tideville - only if you are really bored.....

A scientist kidnapped your son. Collect blue crystals to save him. Two modes: casual and expert. No map, long loading time between and during scenes (latest iPad Air, usually very fast) I feel like I'm moving through molasses trying to deal with this game. Crappy match 3 option to badly drawn HO. get if you are bored otherwise skip. update: Tried to like this game but the longer I play the worse it gets. I wish I could get my money and my time back. I seriously gave up and deleted it as I found no redeeming qualities.

No map, cannot adjust the refresh rate. Skip button is slow, Hint button is relatively quick. Mediocre and dark graphics, only one type of HOPs. Difficult to move between scenes (takes several taps). I'm sorry that I purchased this game.

Did someone actually test this game before releasing it? The way it seems, doubtful! Your a mom that has just moved you and your son to a new town and all of a sudden, your son is playing with some kind of device that has blue crystals and vanishes right before your eyes. He tells you a mad scientist wants him (a 6-8 yr old looking boy?) to make his puppet for him and that's why he kidnapped him?? So with this said, it says try this game for free in the descriptions but makes you pay for it. $3.99 up front. I pay for it and it says inside the game that I have to unlock it?? Didn't I do that when I downloaded the game in the first place? So there's problem # 1 problem #2 is the HOG in itself. You tap and tap and tap and tap on the correct items and the game isn't responding to your touch so you end up beating the crap out of your iPad or phone OR you can switch to a match 3 type of game which you have no choice since the hidden object game isn't responding. I have reinstalled and guess what re-bought this game because it says it doesn't show any in app purchases. I am hoping that will fix the HOG glitch with in the game. So far it's a 2 star game. HEY BIG FISH. STOP WITH THE CRAPPY UN-PLAYABLE GAMES. GIVE US BACK OUR FREE TRIALS. AND WHERE HAS BLUE TEA BEEN.? Yes Big Fish got bought out but that's been quite sometime ago. You would thing this greedy fish would straighten up and finally give us beautiful games instead of these crappy half finished all about dead people witch craft type of games. I'm SO sick of seeing skulls and violence and RERUN TYPE OF Games. They think their being sneaky by deleting all the reviews and sending it back out as a "New" game. Not buying anymore games from BigFishie and I've been a very loyal customer for 4 years now. Have to finish the game now(Wish me luck) To be continued:

It's missing a map with teleport and it crashed once during the trial game. Trying to figure out where to go is a pain in the neck. You end up wasting lots of time trying to figure out your next move. When trying to go back by clicking at the bottom of the screen, it often opens a window instead. When using the "machine" to eliminate the monster obstacles, if you don't place it precisely where it wants, it won't work. So, I took away three stars. But, it has potential. The HO scenes are repeated but they're crowded with items which is fine. The game seems dated, especially without a map. So far, there haven't been any puzzles. It seems that trying to locate the next activity or object IS the puzzle.

Maybe this game wasn't properly tested before release? On game load the opening screen is oriented sideways. Gameplay is slow, dragging, jerky and glitchy. Sound is crackly almost like an old scratchy record, but not in a cool way.

I've been unhappy with BF for some time. They stopped doing demos for most of the games, and the ones that still have demo versions have been awful. I'm not going to buy a BF game without a trial; they do way too many dogs. I wish I could like this one. It does shut off all the voices when asked to, but it's dull, dull, dull. And commits the worst kind of illogic these games can commit. Ghosts? No problem. But needing to dump water on something to cool it off, and not letting you use any of the pots and pans in the kitchen, which are just sitting there? That kind of foolishness just takes you right out of the game. I play these for the puzzles and the searches, I don't want a bunch of faux interactions with people ( if I want to talk to people, I ,you know, go out and talk to people), and it is especially silly for these games to have their players save the world or even a son/brother/husband whatever, as if anyone is going to get emotionally invested in these things, or worse, should! Ugh!

Can't even get past the first puzzle cuz it shuts down..........I'm not buying the full version if I can't play the trial!! Games just keep getting worse!!

I really enjoyed this game. I like the graphic style (like an old painting), and the music that was like an old record. No problems with freezing or slow transitions. The skip button was slow to recharge, but the hint button was fast. With no map I relied on the hint button, which worked well. My only complaint was too many HOPs. There were a lot of puzzles, but it seemed like there was an HOP around every corner, which was a little frustrating.
