I used to love watching WFLA news in the morning but, started having trouble with the app crashing on my iPad a year ago. I try it every few months with no success. Had to switch to Fox 13. No problems with their app. Sorry.

Is there a way to stop certain notifications from automatically turning on? The only notifications that I want are weather and traffic, but the Live and local notifications will not stay turned off.

Every single time I use this app it freezes up and I have to go completely out, wait and then go back into the app. Sometimes it takes me two or three times doing this. I love Channel 8 news, but I’m to the point I’m ready to delete their app and find another news source.

Great app but freezes too much

Overall its a great app but every time i try to read and share an article the app freezes and i cant move to scroll down to read the rest of the story or the app completely just crashes and i have to re load it again for no valid reason. It seems to be “pick and choose” like when the app wants to actually fully function properly and seems to freeze and crash with certain stories if not a majority of them. I would give this a 5 star but this is a big issue ive noticed and doesn’t seem to be fixed

While I enjoy this app, when it works...... I rarely can use it because every time I open an advertised article, the app freezes on my iPhone and I have to force it closed. I hoped that they would fix this eventually, however the crashing continues... it’s just infuriating and not worth it.

It’s so wonderful to have a app that specializes in what’s currently happening in real life time. I work tedious hours so catching the news is a treat for me but when I heard about Chanel 8 news app i jump in with both eyes open. It’s exactly what I need to compensate my long hour at work

Turn off the auto-play videos

Turn off the auto-play videos you recently implemented. Nobody has ever asked for this ever. It’s 2020. What are you going to add next? Blinking text and background musiic. UPDATED down to 1 star Sept 2020. App constantly freezes and crashes after running for only a few minutes. Deleting.
