I have been using the Newschannel 8 app for a while. The latest update makes it almost unusable with all of the pop up ads. Every time you read a story you are blasted with an ad.
Way too many ads!!!!

What a lousy app from a great news station. The ads load, but the news doesn't. The news hasn't updated since the app updated. Going to the completion. Sorry, news channel 8. Fix it, and I'll come back.

The new app layout is terrible. Each time you pick a news story, it starts back at the top, making you re-scroll through all the news stories every time. Terrible layout. Who is the app designer, a middle schooler?
Too busy and too hard to find anything

I love and watch WFLA news every day but this web site is just not up to par. I can never find anything they talk about on the air nor anything else I am searching for. Plus the home screen is so incredibly busy, it makes my eyes hurt. Sorry WFLA, I'll stick to your TV news and social media updates.

absolutely useless. Might be good for local news, but difficult to get to anything. Ads pop up constantly, so when you try and click on a story you end up going out of the app and into web browser to view the ad you never had any interest in to begin with. Then have to go out of Safari all the way back to the App, wait for it to refresh, and then the same thing happens again starts with an ad.
Annoying ads that pop up way too often.

If you can't use a news app with one hand it becomes a video game. Not what I am looking for to read the news.

It's a shame that they feel the need to put ads in front of tragedy, breaking news, and weather alerts, what happened to the saying the news comes first.
