I love the App. I now live in another State, but use to live on Clearwater Beach, I love keeping up to date with Florida News. Hope to move back soon.

Like the news app a lot except that when I open it the sound comes on for the video. Very annoying to me and others. Please correct this- I have my sound turned off and it still comes on. Am afraid to open the app... PS

This is the only app that when something happens in Sarasota County it appears right away as a message from channel 8 I think it’s fantastic and keep it up false it is a great great way to get the news all day lon

Bad Alerts

This is a very dumb app. I signed up for push alerts for breaking news, traffic and weather, but I gey so much junk. Hey WFLA, HBO making a a Harry Potter movie is NOT breaking news. But then again, journalism is not what it use to be: it is now activism. Will be deleting this app snd looking for snother Tampa news app.

News with a political bias

Many of the articles appear to be anti-conservative and pro liberal democratic socialism. Even the photos that are displayed our very negative to anyone who is middle of the road to the right on political issues.If that’s your objective, you succeeded.

Absolutely hate this app now. All the ads constantly cause it to reload when I’m trying to scroll. Every day, more ads. I find a headline I want to read and then BOOM, ad and story is hard to find. I’m deleting and reverting to website or channel 10.

I hate this app, for years I thought it was my old phone that couldn’t handle it, but then I upgraded for the 12, and realized that the app still glitches the same way. The livestreams come with no sounds, freeze on regular basis, and image cut out the rest of the time... if you’re willing to skip any video, which can rarely be expanded to full/wide screen (oh, and they start on their own, no choice on your part), the pages are polluted with ads.

New format is another case of degrading the speed and utility of an app in the interest of trying to be “showy” and giving techies something to do. Don’t change what don’t need fixing just cause you can.
