Extremely expensive, limited "free" functionality

Almost everything in this app requires upgrading to a "PRO" subscription, which is priced at $12.99 USD per month on a month-to-month basis, or $6.99 USD per month if you pay for a while year. That is approximately $80/year or $156/year, depending on the subscription option you choose. Is it worth it? I don't know. It claimed to measure my HRV using my iPhone camera, but at the time I installed it, I was pressed for time, and I didn't take the time to explore all of the options. Apparently they give you some insight into the data for five days. Today when I went back in to take a second look, everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) is hidden behind a "Upgrade go PRO!" banner. I am leaving this review so that people are aware of the VERY limited time you have to see some premium features. For everything else, you have to trust that it is going to be worth the investment. While I am interested in tracking my HRV, I am not interested enough to spend that much money on a whim. Furthermore, the app hasn't demonstrated that it will offer any other value over the other fitness apps I use.

The developer knows what they're doing. I'm curious to see and review results after a weeks worth of logging.

It’s great stuff.

Good tool for measuring and analyzing stress response trends

Korky Bulchik

Overall very satisfied. Some subjective explanations can be grossly inaccurate. Frequency Domain Analysis once read cortisol was high which was due to too much coffee, overeating and junk food. I drink very little coffee, maintain a caloric deficit of around 1000 calories per day and rarely eat any meal without fruits or vegetables. To my knowledge, cortisol levels cannot be conclusively gauged by HRV, nor can cortisol levels be used to accurately predict eating habits. This is just a small caveat that plagues health sciences in general - subjective interpretations of objective measurements. Become an advanced user. Ditch the words soup and compare the data to your lifestyle directly. This can potentially be a very powerful tool for gauging how habits and lifestyle changes affect your stress levels and, in turn, overall health and wellbeing.

Self-care with analytics

I love Welltory — concept is really interesting. The habit forming HPV methodology is really interesting and transformative. I think combined with a broader wellbeing strategy this is a great analytics tool to make sure you are happy, healthy, and living your best life.
