It seems that the next logical app/device rebirth would be a way to sync probe temps to the cloud. I use my old iPhone 4S with the weber iGrill so I don’t tie up my primary phone and I can use my phone on other end of house out of reach of Bluetooth. I would love to be able to run a quick errand during a slow and low cook and be able to view probe readings via the internet if I leave my old 4S at home. I realize not many people have older phones kicking around but the next version of the device could also have WiFi for this too. Bluetooth doesn’t reach from back deck to my bedroom in my not so big condo so I can’t monitor a cook from bedroom for an overview cook either. Cloud monitoring from a second internet connected device would be a huge improvement. So: probes wired to iGrill. iGrill Bluetooth’d to older iPhone within BT range of grill (about 30’). iPhone posts near time updates to Weber app online (seems like it would be a very small amount of data and you could charge subscription revenue or allow people to host the files in places like gDrive etc.). Monitor probe temps from anywhere with internet on second phone via Weber app or other third party. Other feedback: The temp wheel is really sensitive for my sausage fingers. Why can’t I just type the temp settings in with the keyboard? Seems like that would be an easy enhancement. I saw the highlight in the app update that says there is a higher probe temp now. How can the probes handle higher temp through a software update? What is the higher temp now? IIRC, the old max probe temp was 572°F. What is it now? Also, I like the watch app but I wish I could do more with it. Being able to adjust the temp settings for each probe would be slick without resetting the graph history. For the temp guidelines in the graph, just make the old settings different colors like lighter grey or something to indicate where the old temp target(s) were. Would also be nice to see the graph on the watch for people like me with superhuman 20/20 vision. BGE forever. Thanks, David

After updating to iOS 13, the device disconnects frequently from my phone. Turning the device off and back on again fixes it.

Folks I don’t get it You say you have to update the app to use it. I go to App Store. It’s says “open” not download not update. Just open. I open. Can’t dismiss privacy update

Can’t use this app on iPad 12.9 gen 3. I get stuck on the updated privacy settings and it won’t let me view them or dismiss them; completely stuck.

Y’all remember back when I first bought this igrill in 2016? The app was great and you could even select what songs to play when it reached temperature? Gee, that was nice. Each update has been a FUBAR and I’m about ready to not use this app and just read the temp through the window. It’s now so screwed up that the feedback function doesn’t work (not that Weber listens)

Since update EVERYTIME I open my phone I have to restart the program. This causes me to loose my history on how fast the temp is coming up. Fix it please

Difficult to pair with Bluetooth device. Frequently have to re-boot IGrill to get it to connect. Could be better. Otherwise works well as a temperature probe.
