Annoying alerts

Tripelt

Great app and great thermometer, but is it really necessary to have the alerts beep so frequently when it is getting close to the set temperature? Once I hit dismiss, it doesn’t need to keep notifying me every five minutes or less, especially if the temperature isn’t changing.

Good app, but room for improvement

Mjnygs

Love the app, but why not let me apply the same temp settings to multiple probes at once? When cooking for my family, I’m often cooking multiple of the same meat at once and it’s always an annoyance that I have to set up all 4 probes individually even though I want to use the same settings for all of them. Why can’t I just select the meat being cooked and apply those settings to multiple probes at once? Overall it’s a good product and app, but fixing this little annoyance will take it from good to great!

Great tool

TORO Q

Hate to say it but the app and blue tooth probes take almost all my years of hard work and experience and shelve it. Almost.. Wonderful. Especially for those who don’t know how to Q

Waste of money!

The app is terrible! At least his very moment I’m trying reset the temp on my cook and the app won’t let me do it!

Cooks great

Weekend Grillmaster

Cooks great! The propane gas really gets the charcoal glowing in just 5 to 10 minutes, the charcoal storage bin and attached cook top are a real pluses. I also use the Weber app and Bluetooth meat thermometer to time my cooking, Weber’s suggested temperatures are right on the mark. The only issue I have is my push bottom starter does not work so I use a gas lighter from the grocery store to start the fire. I have recommended the Weber Performerto my friends.

Dark Mode support needed

$1K Master

I was previously critical of the app redesign after Weber took over due to the omission of an option to set a temperature range for monitoring the grill temp. That has long since been rectified and overall the UI redesign is simply outstanding. My only beef with the current state is the lack of support for Dark Mode in iOS 13. I realize it’s early since it’s only been public for a couple weeks, but the widget sticks out like a sore thumb now in my Notification Center. As a product, the iGrill has fallen out of favor with me for relying on Bluetooth. I still use it in occasion but I now much prefer an alternative that not only runs over WiFi but also controls the grill temp for me, not just monitor it. Maybe the next version of iGrill hardware will be a more complete kit if we’re lucky.

Can’t pair? Check your app settings!

CrazyDiamond86

If the iGrill app won’t pair with your iGrill v2 device and the screen says Enable bluetooth even though it is already enabled, go to settings scroll down to the iGrill app and toggle the bluetooth setting to on. This is different than turning your phone’s bluetooth on. Hope this helps
