No way to share ad free. Not worth 20 a year. Very disappointed.

Forecast video is not current!

Dollar Billy 2

(Update 04/06/2018) Ok now we are up to version 9.9 (the old review below is 4 years old and the referenced problem has been fixed) but how about making the “local forecast video” as current as the one in TV? It’s 7:45 pm here and the time in the video is 3:00 pm!!! Been using this app for a long time and about the only complaint I have is with the latest revision 5.5.2, when you bring up the map the location name is displayed at the pin point but no longer goes away when you tap on it. This obscures part of the map, right where I am located. On previous versions the location name would disappear if you tapped on it.

Why???

eglaga01

I cannot fathom why they would take an app that worked perfectly, was user-friendly and convenient and turn it into the worst app ever. I don't want to have to create an account or sync to my Facebook just to get the weather. And the new layout is pointless, why change a good thing? That is insane. This is a piece of garbage. 4-7-2018 Update: I see they got rid of that Facebook login feature. I'm not surprised, it was dumb. My new issue is with the ads on the videos. I could see anyone of those clips with no ad on Snapchat, Instagram or YouTube. I actively avoid watching the video clips through this app and just google the ones that look interesting.

Bring back the swipe

Benthetruckdriver

Bring back the swipe to change in my saved locations. As a truck driver I would like to be able quickly get a snapshot view of the area I run through and the swipe was very useful.

More stars if you fix the GPS!

My location is never right even when I’m in my house. I tried to “drag” the pin to the correct location but it won’t work. It’s not far off but I live in a micro climate so it makes a huge difference.

Congratulations IBM... you destroyed this app

Dannyabtl

This app has become a piece of garbage since it was purchased by IBM. Powered by Watson? More like powered by two dead squirrels running on a treadmill. Half the time the app won’t load current city at all. The other half it either locks up or you have to stand on your head and do three cartwheels to get it to move between any function. Ridiculous and pathetic.

Slow and doesn’t save settings

MikeB9595

I just love apps that send you tons of alerts and notifications and when you try to turn the alerts off, the app doesn’t save them so you’ll continue getting the alerts you don’t want! Delete!

Inconsistency detracts from overall experience

SuzySolitaire

I just updated, and it still locks up on radar screen after I change layers, and go back to the radar screen. Nothing can move. “First world problem”, and, still, frustrating.

Automatic notifications have to be changed in app

laura_petrie

So out of nowhere, the app - for which I had notifications turned off - starts sending me ridiculous notifications, like “light snow will start around 4:37” (incidentally, if you’re going to be that specific, you should try to be right, but they never are). It turns out the app has its own notifications that you have to control from within the app. That’s just rude.
