So far, I like the old version better. I had a page for my house and each of my daughters and could easily slide from one to the other. I’ve put in two of them, but I have to go to the location list to access them. Also, it won’t let me put in Sandy Springs, Ga. It will let me put in Marietta, which is only 12 miles away, but when you are tracking a tornado, 12 miles can make a big difference. The old one let me put in Sandy Springs, so I know the ability is there. The new one is ok, I may like it better as I use it more. But I’m hanging on to the old one as long as they still post to it.

Every thing seems fine until recently. I have the notifications for rain/snow showers off and I keep getting notifications of light showers. Even at 4 am. I’m fine if it is severe.

“Getting Your Weather Data “ is almost constantly at the top of the app when opening. Sometimes it only takes a couple of seconds to update, other times it doesn't update at all. It’s a couple of hours behind. I use 3 different apps to try and get a consensus of how close storms or rain are to me. I need a dependable, quick to look at weather app.

Way to take an ok app and make it totally useless with the adds. Once an ad loads, you can no longer scroll. Some ads act as pop-up and take over the whole screen with no way out of it but to exit the program. Seriously, if a reviewer gives more than one start then they're either living in a dream world or working for TWC to write the review.

So this past week was an eventful week for weather in central Illinois. I received multiple notifications that rain would begin in 5 minutes with or without rain in the vicinity. That didn’t bother me. What was very concerning is that when a tornado watch, and eventually a tornado WARNING was issued for my county(tornado was within 5 miles of me in the same county), nothing showed up. But the good news is I got to know right away when there was an earthquake in California. TWC, please only notify me when California blissfully sinks into the Pacific. Until then, you may want to consider what kind of notification is important to send.

This app used to be my go to. Over the past year it has turned into complete trash. Nothing but ads and clickbait videos. Three videos featured there now are title 1) ‘Zombie’ Raccoons on the Loose. 2) Spoiler Alert: This Didn’t End Well. 3) Kids Forced to Work Fields to Survive.... Seriously guys? You should be ashamed of yourselves. Leave this awful app behind and try one of the many other superior options. NOAA is great.

Not sure what changed, but I’ve been getting alerts like crazy from this app lately. I’m constantly altering my setting to try to receive less. As it is, this app is becoming way too intrusive and is nearing deletion from my phone. Related note, a “prediction” that the 2018 hurricane season “may” be more severe than usual is in no way “Breaking News”. It’s neither news nor breaking as it’s not occurring presently and may not occur at all. So why is the notification being pushed to my phone as such? App seriously needs to get its act together.
