First off, I get random notifications about a “Dolphin in distress.” That is not weather. That is not near me. That is not relevant to me. But I can’t disable notifications because I still want emergency weather alerts. The app is chock-full of ads too. And if you want expected features like the forecast, you need to pay.

where i live, we just had some really really bad tornados. the weather channel app let me know where the bad weather was and petted me know if it was heading for me. this app definitely is the most reliable app i use!

Weather by the day

The best weather information. Needed for medical appointments and having ahead for driving safety. Plan each day by the programmed report. Wonderful for me. And I’m sure for others too I check it day and night. Without it I would be nervous and apprehensive when out and weather changes Always want to get home safe or be at home with no worries. Thank you for your up to date coverage. Have a good year !

Excellent app for anyone along the east coast. However, that’s about where the coverage starts and ends. I’m not too sure those in TWC Atlanta station realize there’s a Pacific Ocean.

I rely on this channel for planning for, not only my activities for tomorrow, but what I will be doing in a week.. it has been very helpful for me and I am grateful.. and I must add that I have found it to be accurate

Been using this app for ten years and the ads keep getting worse. Nevertheless, the “feels like” temp is still at the top of the first screen, and the hourly forecast is more accurate than the local news station, so this app still has some value.

Been using for years. slowly but surely it has become so bloated that it no longer works. i accept that my free app is ad driven. i dont accept that the ads make it unusable. if i was an advertiser on this app and i tested it, i would pull the ads and spend my marketing budget elsewhere. its useless now.

I don’t like the new version

I have always relied on this app to provide me accurate weather wherever I may be. The new precipitation radar with the blue and pink is awful. We have alway traditionally used green, far green for heavy rain, yellow stringer storms and the red for to identify the most intense part of a storm. I no longer have that insight with these new colors. Please go back to green, yellow and red! I also don like how the low temp no longer telcos the low for the evening of the day you are viewing, it reflects the low for 24 hours including the early morning that has already passed. I rely on the low for a quick check on the low for the current evening/overnight when I’ll be asleep. Now, I have to scroll though hourly temps to see what will be the low overnight. Don’t like it.
