Good but Not Reliable

The station itself is a GREAT station. And when the app is functioning, it’s a great app. The ability to rewind the stream is a wonderful benefit. Unfortunately the app simply doesn’t work consistently.

Buffering is terrible

I’m a daily user (sufferer) of this app. The most frustrating thing by far is the buffering (which will sometimes cause a show to stop to rebuffer multiple times). The thing that annoys me the most is that you cannot rewind a program past a certain point - sometimes I can rewind a program a full two hours, but other times I can’t rewind 30 seconds... I was listening to Con Salsa which ends at 3 am - I paused the show at 2:58 to hear the end, and when I clicked play to resume at 3:01 it had timed out and wouldn’t let me rewind to where I had paused it. What an absolute piece of crap.

Please fix this - crashes are ruining my mornings

A recent update has the app run for about 10 minutes of coverage and then it stalls out. You have to force quit, maybe even a few times to get it to load properly. It’s really infuriating

Love being able to hear my shows when not near my radio. Upsetting when buffering occurs but it does pick up where it left off. Bill Littlefield makes “Only a Game” worthwhile. Thank you!

Constantly quitting after 2-3 listens on the saved featured.

You guys need to fix this. I’m thinking after every update it would get fixed. Love the programming but the quitting gets annoying. I gave to stop whatever I am doing to start it back up.

WBUR please fix this app. The stream constantly stops. Often times for hours on end. Super buggy and unreliable. I want your quality reporting but usually have to use Apple Music to get it! Sad!

Every minute is an astonishing hosting if you begin to listen to this radio ... believe me you won’t be able to change station. Listening to this radio means to become easily more bright and smart, always the best English at your disposal, always the best voice, so smooth and enchanting.... I listen to WBUR everyday but this app crashes or freezes about 1/2 the time I use it. iPhone 5s.

Data error

Content will not load if pulling from cell tower; however will work using WIFI. Data settings are good on my phone.
