This app is literally the only thing that keeps me mentally stable, I’ve had it for 2 months now and my screen time on it is 30+ hours a week. I’ve never thought to write a review till I came to update the app but i definitely recommend this app for anyone who needs something good to read or is having a hard time. On this app I have found lots of people like me who get my humor in ways many other people don’t.

Wattpad, i have had this app since i was in middle school and I graduated from high school two years ago and i STILL read fan fiction off your app. The books that have been deleted are books that are for mature audiences and have had several statements saying that the book is for mature readers, 18+ and it would also break down several triggering things that would be happening through your the book so you can step away from the book. I think if having mature content on your application is such a big deal you could have a mature section, where you need to be of a certain age. I don’t think deleting the books was the right way to go. Now i’m not a writer not even close but i am a very fast reader and i love reading, not only does it upset the reader to have their favorite books taken down with no other way to be read but the writers, i couldn’t even imagine having something that you worked on countless hours, brainstorming and having to deal with the handful of people who aren’t a fan of your work just to have said work taken down because it’s mature. Please reconsider taking them down, i know people would be very happy if you did, Thanks

I’ve loved wattpad. It was a friend to my younger naive self. However... it has gone downhill. First the paid membership and the ads. Now they’re taking away stories for mature content. If I wanted to read flavorless books with good plots I’d pick up an actual book. I read wattpad for the steaminess of some stories. If they continue I’ll just delete the app.

I have had this app for 3 years now. I love it very much but I am tired of all of the ads. Then they sell to webtoons. A lot of books are getting taken off because they are mature. I’m sorry to say but I’m deleting this app.

I live wattpad I’ve had it for a long long time but my only complaint is that it doesn’t have a recently read tab I wish it did because I’ve lost a bunch of good book le cause I forget to save them and forget the name of the book I wish there was a recently view or read tab cause it would help me a lot and I know it will help other people too so can y’all add the feature ? Please

Dear Wattpad, You have just taken down one of the most well written fanfics off Wattpad. It’s called Manacled by SenlinYu. It’s not their fault people can’t read trigger warnings. Instead of taking down a masterpiece take down something different. Also the ads are annoying Thanks ?

I hadn’t had Wattpad for so long but I became immediately obsessed with it BUT they have been taking down the mature books and all my favorite books from there and I am very upset because of this.

Quizilla was my childhood writing home. Then quizilla started mass deleting fics. Then they got bought. Then the site died. Don’t be like quizilla. Just give the people the smut they asked for. It’s your only hope.
