Devices are NOT compatible with Apple Health App

KBKowBoy

I strongly regret purchasing a Walgreens Blood Pressure Monitor. The device is only compatible with the Walgreens Connect App and does not allow my Apple Health App to sync the data. Also, the Walgreens App does not store the time of day for readings. Very Disappointing.

Awful, awful, awful

Worst experience ever trying to first sync a glucose meter (and 2 calls to Walgreens help line was useless- they were clueless as to how to sync a device and admitted they did not know what to do- some help line). Eventually I did a search online and found sync directions. So now The device is synced to the iPhone, but there is no data- no dashboard- nothing but a freakin advertising page! This is a total failure and a gimmick! Don't fall for it- it is just a way for Walgreens to try and sell more things to you and no actual data or true meter sync exists. What a crock! Walgreens, we expected better. If this was truly a serious app that really collected data, it might be worthwhile, but it is obvious that whom ever is in charge of this app and sync farce does not know a thing about really health-tech integration. Awful.

Arm bp monitor

Love this app

To much security

I had deleted the app and wanted to go back in. It took almost 10 minutes of being asked different times for me to prove I'm not a robot. Deleted the app and found one that wasn't so locked up. I appreciate the security but good grief it's just my blood pressure. The app shouldn't raise my blood pressure!!

Very disappointed

Now, let me preface everything I’m about to say with this: 1) I’m extremely technologically proficient, my background is mostly hardware, my degree is information systems 2) I’ve used other Walgreens apps before and have for years to manage my prescriptions. Love them. This app is behaving like a hunk of junk. I don’t know if it’s because of the new iOS 11 update and maybe things haven’t caught up or what. I bought a new glucose monitor today and I specifically got the one with Bluetooth because I like compiling all my various data from my various devices so I can take it all to my doctor so he can see my history and progress. Even though THIS APP is the app that the instructions said to get— it does not work with my monitor. The app refuses to pair with my device. My phone settings say that it’s paired and connected. App still says “device not supported.” ITS THE ONLY DEVICE! Its not like there was a range of options of meters with Bluetooth that were Walgreens branded and I made an oopsie and got the wrong one. No! I got the only one! Lest we forget the directions specifically said THIS APP. So I ended up doing some digging and decided to forget Walgreens. It did not take long to browse the actual manufacturers website and low and behold they, too, have an app. So I decided to give it a whirl. You know what happened? It synced the information and test results off the device and onto my phone before I even knew what really happened. It was fantastic! Developers: please get your stuff together and sort this out.

Doesn’t work

Will not open on my Samsung S8. Type in my username and password and it just closes.

Bought for the Bluetooth functionality. Tried to pair it with the app and app said that the device is not supported even though I had to select my model when setting up the account and it had a pic of my device on the screen. Will be returning it tomorrow.

Failure App

Actually, giving it one star is being generous. They obviously did not hire IT people who knew how to write apps. After reading the reviews I decided to not waste half the night trying to sync this nor will I be calling their support as others reviewed that their support didn't know anything about it either. Found a review that said they were able to sync their blood glucose monitor through the manufacturer's app. Best review advice I found. I searched the manufacturer in the app store, found the app for my device and within SECONDS my phone was connected to my device. Will be deleting the Walgreens Connect app as it is garbage..... not sure review will post as I have tried MULTIPLE times to post but tells me EVERY TIME the nickname is taken.....

Can’t believe they sell this stuff!

Just like many people on here, I could not pair my BP wrist cuff with the terrible app. Got the same message “not supported”. Waste of time will return it tomorrow.

App is OK, but history does not record the time and date blood pressure was taken. I wish this data was viewable at all times. You only see date; time BP results after initial sync with monitor. Please update app to show day and time in history as well as BP results.
