The Vonage Business Cloud mobile app is available at no additional charge for existing subscribers of Vonage Business Cloud phone service, all you need to do is login with your username and password. (Data charges may apply to mobile app usage depending on your mobile plan)

About the service:
More and more small businesses are leveling the playing field by switching from traditional phone service to hosted VoIP. Vonage’s full-featured business VoIP solution requires no cost for setup or installation at the business. The system is hosted in the cloud and managed virtually, giving users greater control of the phone system and making it easy to add extensions as the business grows. Mobility features also keep on-the-go employees integrated within the system. Vonage’s efficient Business Cloud platform enables many customers to save on their monthly phone bills, and Vonage requires no annual contracts.

For those customers that are not yet subscribers can now purchase a mobile only plan directly in the app using our auto-renewing subscription. This plan is specifically designed and only available for small businesses located in the contiguous United States, that do not need a landline.

The mobile-only plan brings you the convenience of a separate business phone number for your existing mobile phones. Both your mobile number and your Business number will ring directly to your smartphone, allowing you to keep your conversations separate, but from the same device.

MOBILE-ONLY PLAN INCLUDES:
• A local business phone number
• Two mobile extensions with separate numbers that can be used on different smartphones
• Unlimited(1) calling and texting across the contiguous United States
• Core calling features; voicemail, caller ID, and call waiting
• Many of our advanced calling features; automatic call routing, voicemail to email, music on hold, and more

Subscriptions made through the App Store can not be changed or altered.

For those not already on a Vonage Business Cloud calling plan, you can signup directly within the mobile app using an auto-renewing subscription. There are no annual contracts, and you can cancel at any time.

Mobile Only Plan is available under the following terms:
One-month subscription for $19.99 (plus tax where applicable), auto-renewing until canceled. Subscription includes a 7 day free trial
Payment for all purchases will be charged to your iTunes account at the confirmation of your purchase.
Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will automatically be charged at the same price for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

App Update = Disaster

The most recent update has caused our apps to crash and our calls to drop as soon as we add a second call. We are unable to transfer or conference calls - two essential functions for a business. This is absolutely unacceptable and when we reached out to Vonage for a response, we were told the issue was “local.” Clearly, their support team also needs an upgrade.


I can’t hang hang up from a previous call in the app.

When I use my Yealink or my computer to make a call, it works fine. The problem is when I use the app. I can’t hang up from a call. If I click on the hang up button, nothing. I have to either reboot my phone. Or, when I used chat yesterday, he told me to uninstall and then reinstall the app. Neither of which is ideal! This never happened with the old app, and I use my cell phone must of the time to make calls. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

I cannot fathom why a call app would beep ALL THE WAY THROUGH a call. Dit-dit... dit-dit... every 15 seconds or so. No apparent cause, no other incoming call, no way to turn it off.

Ever since the “new look” update calls have been crashing constantly. I can’t tell you how many times I have to reinstall the app for it to work for me.

The newest version of the app looks like a newspaper, not at modern smartphone app. Yet, that’s the least of the concerns. Whenever I speak with clients through the phone component of the app (whether on WiFi or mobile), the sound is so muffled and garbled that I always hang up and directly call them from my personal phone number. Also, on the iPhone XS, there’s a huge paper icon hovering right over the 6 button on the number keypad during active calls. Half the time when I tap the 6 to navigate menus or use call queue options, the app registers as tapping that other icon, and the calls drop.

Clunky and glitchy

App is clunky and glitchy. Even if my phone is on silent AND do not disturb the phone will audibly alert to a text message or missed call. This is not cool. I have to sleep with my phone in the other room because of this. Tried to reach out to Vonage but they told me it’s an issue with my device however every other person in my company reports the same issue.

The app is good, but when you try to answer a call and someone else has picked it up, when it's up to my ear to talk it emits a LOUD ding to show I missed a call. And I can't find a place to change that one notification setting. You have to fix this. It's hurt my ear a lot since the shelter in place. And using this app is how we are managing our business during this pandemic.
