While the app itself works adequately, logging in can be a real problem, since the username that you log into the main site with is not necessarily the log in username for the app. After I had to wipe my phone to get some bugs to go away it took me a more than a week of trying different combinations to get logged in to the app, and customer service was no help in pointing me in the right direction that maybe the username might be something different....

Fix it!!!! Try arming from phone, works one day but not the next. Vivint says all is fine. Doesn't work. Oh wow it's working, only for 1 day. The next, it doesn't work. Booooooo!!!!!

Love this app but it hasn't been updated in quite awhile. Wish they would update so features work better and quicker. To see temp for thermostat have to pull down page to refresh several times to get the current temp. Things should work better than they do.

Nothing fancy. But I love being able to set and turn off my alarm from my phone. I also like being able to see which sensors have been tripped.

I first would like to say that Vivint offers a great product but we later found out that we had been lied to. At the time, my girlfriend and I were living in a rental home when we were first approached by Vivint salesman Jeremy(Agent Reg#125215). I informed him in the beginning that it was a rental and he assured me he could offer me a 2 year contract as opposed to the 4-5 year contract. When it came to signing the contract, we had to inform him yet again that we wanted the 2 year contract so Jeremy adjusted the paperwork to show 24 months and assured us that the 42 month contract had been disposed of. We had to move and we found out that the place we were going to rent didn't allow changes to be made so we called to cancel and pay out the 2 year contract. We found out that Jeremy(Agent Reg#125215) had submitted the first paperwork that he claimed had been disposed of and forged my girlfriends initials because the first contract wasn't completed by us. We tried to give Jeremy(Reg#125215) benefit of the doubt and contact him first but he redirected us to customer service and claimed that he never offered a 2 year contract. Customer service said they couldn't do anything, even after hearing hat they have crooks for salesman. So now, we are stuck paying $50 a month for the next 3 years because Jeremy(Agent Reg#125215) submitted a contact that we didn't approved. Watch out next time Vivint comes to your door.

Can not set Thermostat Schedule, (heat or cool) from my iPhone. Will not keep settings when I change them. Works fine online from Desktop. It has been this way for at lease two weeks now.


Where is the door lock menu?

Why is the door lock menu removed from this version? I can't unlock the door from my iPhone or Apple Watch. Please fix this.

I STILL CANNOT PAY my acct! I used to be able to get to the main site to pay my bill but not any more. This app actually fights you from going to the main page on your phone to try to pay your bill so makes it IMPOSSIBLE to pay your bill in an easy way... if you don't want me to pay my bill just tell me!!! Also, it's WAY TOO SLOW to arm & disarm the system!

The app works most of the time. Sometimes you can't arm or disarm the system even when you're in the house. It can be very frustrating, especially when you use your phone or your wife's phone, and it won't arm/disarm.
