Ridiculous rules make it difficult to sell.

This app has rules that are far too strict about selling. They will "hide" or even "delete your items" for using a product image from the company, even if you also use your own, not using "enough" photos. They even deleted two of my items for "listing them under the wrong brand" when I listed them under their actual brand. I've had pretty much every item hidden or deleted for the most ridiculous reasons. Poshmark and Mercari are much better than this app.

While I used to really enjoy this site initially, now I am overly frustrated with lack of customer service. I lost 50% of my listed price because of a glitch. I write to Vinted only to see that my message has said 'seen' but never get a response. Also someone reports you & they get all the leverage, even if there reporting a bogus reason while we have REAL issue & we can't reach anyone. Someone reported me because they didn't like the picture I took they said it was vulgar. I'm in stretchy pants. You realize people pose in lingerie and bathing suit's while I am 100% covered in pants!? Ugh vinted
Overall amazing but has some bugs.

I downloaded this app almost 2 years ago. I love it so much still! It's a great way to connect with people in the forum and its a great way to clear out your closet! It's not super upscale (but it's still very nice) so you don't need designer brands in order to make a sale. I have made many sales and bought a few things and have had great experiences! When I didn't have a great experience as a buyer Vinted helped me. I have had some bad experiences as a seller and I have been almost completely out in the dark with no help. I messaged one of the moderators because they do not make it clear how TO Contact vinted and She NEVER RESPONDED. I have to say I love this app and I have made a ton of sales but vinted needs to protect its sellers too. Without us you don't make money. Of course though it does protect its "featured sellers" which most of the time are over priced, designer clothes from closets with no reviews or only a little reviews. There are people on there who work so hard at this, people with over 100 positive feedback who deserve to be featured. Because of this I am really angry and even went back and changed my positive review to this. Totally recommend this app to buyers. Sellers beware. I make a lot of sales but it's difficult.
A seller's nightmare

The worse selling app I ever used. No matter how you edit your pictures, there is always something supposedly wrong with them. We shouldn't have to be forced to post pictures the way the developers of this app feels will 'get more attention from Vinties.' Every single time I list an item, I always get messages stating 'some of your listings need a little attention.' And the worse part of it is they actually hide your listings from prospective buyers because your pictures doesn't meet THEIR standards. Let the users determine whether my pictures spark their interest, not YOU!! That is the stupidest feature I have seen yet. I'm uninstalling this piece of crap, and continue to sell on Mercari, Poshmark, and 5 miles. They are sooooo much better than this piece of trash of an app.
Organized and trustworthy
Although there are some options that need to be added to the app, the Vinted team always works on it! I trust this app more than others It's more organized in my opinion. Worth the download! There are plenty of buyers to sell to (even though there are only 10 reviews the Vinted community is large). If you have questions you are sure to get the help you need from their team. Great app; nearly perfect!
Glitches

The app glitches and logs you out sometimes and won't connect with my fb. Lots changes within the app etc. I've been a happy vinted used for over 3 years until now.

There is a software issue to where it will not register if you try to change your sex to male from female on your profile. Bugs must be fixed.

I love how you have the options to sell or swap. I'm able to get rid of all my old clothing without the hassle of the Facebook yard sale sites. I love how I can just send it to the buyer through the mail so that I don't have to worry about finding a safe place to meet them to bring the item to them.
