I ordered two separate orders, both said delivered but were never delivered to me. As a busy student myself, I was a day late to reporting it on the app. Vinted reached out and said there’s nothing they can do about a “lost package.” Horrible customer service and I’m sad to say I wasted money on the app. 2/3 orders unsuccessful.

Pros -Interface is nice and not too overwhelming -Easy to use -Newsfeed page is constantly refreshing and leaving you with new results -You get to keep all of your money from sales and the app does not take a portion of it (unlike Depop) Cons -Some sellers are inactive and my or may not respond back on time -Notifications can and tend to go under the radar (at least for me) -Most people do not bother replying back to you, especially if it’s an important question regarding their items I have been using Vinted since 2017 and I was expecting to make a decent amount of money from selling clothes, but I haven’t made much since now and then. I’m on and off with the app and try to find better ones out there since like everything in life, Vinted is not without its faults. For instance, the algorithm isn’t the greatest and can be ages before anyone finds your stuff. It’s best to use well known brands if you want your stuff to get noticed. Sometimes people can be pushy about wanting you to buy their stuff. Overall, Vinted isn’t terrible but I just think that it could be better. Maybe similar to apps like Offerup.

BUYER BEWARE !!!! The support team of this app is condescending and refuses to refund my money !!!! I made a purchase and the item shipped and did not arrive ever !!! The tracking on this item has said in transit since 7/31/20 and says it will be late ! Ok fine it can be late BUT IT IS 2 weeks later ?!!?? Now it has been even longer !!!!I contacted the support team to have them tell me that I SHOULD FIND MY OWN PACKAGE!! I am the BUYER !!!!! They then told me that it needs investigate further !!!!! Well do it !!! Investigate away !!! Seriously they then told me they need to look into the Seller!!!! Well good go ahead BUT NOT MY Problem !!!!! Refund my money !!! Please please do not let these people do this to another person !!! They could have offered me anything and I would have felt better BUT NOTHING AT ALL . I did get a smart fanny little flower from one of the reps!!!! How do I like that !!! So I guess I got a bunch of rude msgs along with a flower emoji for My $30 . Guess I could have gotten off cheaper if I had purchased a sticker pack from Apple tho !!!! So save ur money !!! Do not give them ur money !!!

I had vinted sooo long ago and it was the best selling app out there! Then came the changes and more changes nothing for the better. Shipping prices for too high then fees to both the seller and buyer! Also if there was an issue with payment customer service basically didn’t give a flying you know what. It went downhill and I went to another app. Also I had a payment issue for over $100 and I lost it all because they were too greedy to just help me out. Never using the app again.

Vinted has a very nice User interface and a solid user experience. That being said, this app is absolutely RIDDLED with scammers. For the Vinted team, please provide a means for solving this issue. I have received zero legitimate purchase requests and at least a dozen different messages from people claiming they cannot use the app to make purchases. They all follow the exact same formula. The users have generic names followed by numbers. They ask either “is this still available” or more frequently, “can this be shipped”. The answer is obviously yes or I wouldn’t be using the app. Then they ask for your phone number so they can “talk more easily and make the purchase ASAP”. I have texted with these people to get a sense of the scams they are running. They all want to use CashApp, suggesting there is some level of organization to their schemes. I have consistently tried to report them but there is no real system in place to report scams BEFORE they occur. Vinted - please find a way to address this issue. I have not lost any money to these scams fortunately but the number of almost identical scam messages I have received from numerous users is ridiculous. Your app is leagues better than Poshmark and other competitors in terms of UI and UX but your approach to reporting is lackluster. I recommend you beef up your reporting and review system and also implement a short mandatory user education program to inform new users about scams and teach them how to spot and report them.
