Thank you Vinted for not taking a cut from our sales.. thank you for always having the buyer pay for shipping and allowing us the rate the buyer. There are some buyers who take advantage of people who are offering discounts and then go and sell the items on their page at an inflated price. But mostly it’s just nice people looking for a good deal. Compared to Kidizen ( which takes so much out of your sales) and Poshmark ( hard to sell non name brand clothes) Vinted is the BEST!

I have been selling on Vinted for four years and I’ve never had a problem until now. I have a profile with 5 star— 85 reviews. I recently sold an accessory that is worth $174 retail. Sold it for less than half the price because I needed a form of income. The tracking remained stagnant for weeks. I kept reaching out to the buyer to apologize for the delay. The buyer never responded to my messages only once when I asked her if the package arrived she said, “not yet.” I should’ve took that as a red flag. She was never concerned about the month delayed package... what if she did receive it? I will never know. ? Anyway, finally after a month I reached out to Vinted. They gave me two days to come into an agreement with the buyer of “splitting the cost” outside of Vinted using PayPal. That same day, I reached out to USPS and I was waiting for them to respond. Then, I reached out to the buyer hoping she would respond & we could come to an agreement. The buyer never responded. Another red flag. ? I opened the Vinted app this morning and I am honestly so disappointed and so sad. They fully refunded the buyer because I didn't respond to them within two day. Honestly, my mind was focused on the buyers response & I should’ve let Vinted know I was still waiting. But they could've honored that and showed me grace. I am disappointed. This is a warning to all sellers. Beware of selling high end things like ray bans. If something like this happens to you, they won’t have your back. ?

Initially when I downloaded I thought I hit the jackpot finding items that would’ve been triple the amount anywhere else but I hit a huge problem when I was about to order. NONE. OF. THE. SELLERS. ARE. ACTIVE. I had wasted so much time compiling favorites planning out my buying options all for the sellers not to have checked the app since 2015. Overall it’s pointless because most of the things you’ll find will be associated with inactive accounts :/
