Live with roommates? Easy!

If u live with roommates, you’ve gotta have Venmo. It makes paying rent so simple! It also is necessary for going out to eat or get drinks with friends. Venmo makes it easy to split the bill. This app is truly wonderful to have and easy to use.
Unable to use my account despite verification

Since verifying my new account on 6/19/18, I have been unable to make or receive payments and no one in Customer Service can tell me why. I checked with my bank. It’s not a bank issue and Venmo Customerservice insists they can’t verify what the issue is so their solution is to try it again later or go to another pay source like Pay Pal. That would be fine if I didn’t already have payments by people waiting for me to confirm. I had high hopes that Venmo would be a good option for me but that hasn’t been the case so far.

I love Venmo. It’s easy and safe to use and a great way to pay back friends. I use it with my friends all the time and we all love it!!
Searches don’t work

Great payment app, but the search functions don’t work properly. All my friends, co workers, and teammates cannot find me by email or phone #.
Bank account changed

I recently changed my username and password to my bank account and now I am unable to update any of that information on my account it seems. Anytime I try to update it says something like “invalid token”. No idea what it means but it’s put a wrench in how I pay people monthly.

Very dissatisfied. Was convinced by a client , and Venmo customer service that this was easier and faster then a check. I now have funds trapped in this stupid app with no way to access it or use it on anything other then stupid trinkets from the few stores that do accept it. I can’t even transfer to my paypal which WILL deposit funds without an arbitrary review that I have no input in , or access to see , as to why my funds couldn’t be transferred.
